Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

    Obviously implications are high this week and I have no RB horses. I’m going based off your rankings but want confirmation. Need 2 RBs and a flex with Conner being out. Starting: Sanders and Guice, Flex: Mattison. Bench: Penny, Damien Williams, and Samuels.

      I think Damien Williams needs to be in the picture for you if he is active. Congrats on making the playoffs, you’ve obviously had some tough decisions week to week with that group- kudos.

    Of these QBs who would you start? Darnold, Garapalo or Kyle Allen? Also at WR I have Lockett and Chark. Would you start either Curtis Samuel or Deebo Samuel over either of those two? Locket kind of scares me and Chark has a tough matchup.

    I see what the rankings page and Trashmans rankings say but I’m having a hard time choosing who to play. Standard scoring I have Keenan, Lockett, Sutton, Arob, Alshon. Currently have Keenan, Sutton, Arob in. Am I crazy to want to play Alshon over both Arob and Lockett? He gets the giants!

      Tyler Lockett @ LAR
      Alshon Jeffery vs NYG

      If you have conviction on Alshon, do what you feel.

    How do you feel about running Dak and Amari out in a playoff week? Thinking it would be to cockamamie to sit Dak for Darnold but wondering if I should sit Amari. Currently have him in my flex with my other options being Fuller, Jamaal Williams and Guice. If those 2 lay an egg on TNF, my season is probably toast before we get to the w/e. Thanks Trashman

      I”m not Trashman but we saw Blough + Golladay get it done versus this Bears D, I understand your fears, but if it was me, I’d roll with my main soldiers and not overthink it. As always though, I’ll say these are your playoffs and you should only do what you are comfortable doing and if you have strong conviction, you should go with it rather than kicking yourself all offseason if you don’t go with your gut and lose.     Team name Kerryon Pesants! 9-4, #2 in the league

    Got a 1st Round bye this week, but looking to make sure i’m ready to dominate on my way to a championship!

    It’s a Standard 3WR 2RB league. I have Mark Ingram and Derrick Henry handcuffed with Gus Edwards and Dion Lewis.

    TE I have Gesicki and Evan Engram but thinking about picking up Ian Thomas if Gregg Olsen is done for the season.

    Cousins is my starting QB with Matt Ryan on my bench. Thinking about dropping Ryan for Brissett or Minshew. I like the idea of rolling out Brissett and Cousins on their Monday Night games in Week 15 &16, but Minshew has a favorable schedule going up against Oakland and then Atlanta.

    The other guys on my bench are Tyrell Williams and Curtis Samuel. Wondering if I should keep or drop them for Scarbrough, or Mike Davis/ Rex Burkhead/ TY Montgomery (the last three are the available handcuffs of the remaining teams in the playoffs who I might face).

    Could be over thinking things but would appreciate the insight!

      I wouldn’t be too married to any of the QBs, I’d play / plan for the matchups on the matchup tool — if it’s close I’d lean towards Cousins and Ryan—-I like Minshew better than Brissett because of the weapons he has.

      If you like Minshew’s schedule and want to try to make an informed play under this ploy you are devising- He’s probably the sneaky guy I’d go with. I wouldn’t agonize over adding Brissett to my championship caliber team for some cockamamie one off championship play that you are maniacally scheming and plotting two wk in advance. His receivers are trash rn…….

      Tyrell can be dropped for a better player if needed—- Bo could fit that mold pending his upcoming schedule. This wk isn’t great on paper. But he’s a guy I’ve always liked a little bit, and they are feeding him. Not thrilled about the low efficiency handcuffs, if the starter goes down you are likely better off looking elsewhere (prob your current bench) for a replacement…..

      Sounds like a you have a pretty good idea what you are doing at TE. I’m assuming Ryan Griffin or Jack Doyle are obv not avail.

    I feel disgusting with what I’m about to type… but,

    PPR- I now hold a slight advantage over my first round opponent because David Montgomery had a weak game so I just need the safest play I suppose.

    Jaylen Samuels (Connor owner that didn’t get Snell), David Johnson, or drop one for Patrick *Insert Vomiting*
    Laird.

    Also, as my flex, Christian Kirk (Currently in for me) or Marquise Brown.

    Then in the flex I could have LeV, James White, Chark or Crowder. “Start ur studs” would say Chark, but Im a Dolphins fan, and I just got a call asking if I want to play CB this week. 😀

      Its hard to take Chark out, but we’ve actually seen what Crowder is capable of against MIA this year, and with Bell out, Dam could be throwing the ball more, possibly.
