Trashman’s 2020 Fantasy Running Back Steals

Fantasy Running Back Steals

It’s downright criminal to be able to get these backs where they can be had in fantasy drafts, and Trashman explains why!

Jordan Howard, Dolphins:
-Will share the Miami backfield with Matt Breida, but is a much stronger bet to be the goal line back, as Howard has averaged 8 rushing TDs a season compared to 2 for Breida
Ryan Fitzpatrick led the team in rushing in 2019, so there is sore need for stable runners
-Breida has only played 16 games once in his 3 years in the league and is constantly playing through injuries.
-Being drafted behind Marlon Mack, Phillip Lindsay and Matt Breida, all of whom he should score more TDs than and have at least as many yards

Damien Harris, Patriots:
-Rushed for more yards than Josh Jacobs at Alabama in 2018
Sony Michel has dealt with chronic knee injuries his entire career and is currently rehabbing from foot surgery, putting his camp and potentially the start to his season in jeopardy.
Cam Newton‘s acquisition immediately makes the Patriots offense legitimate
-With an ADP of 71, being taken behind the likes of Gio Bernard, Anthony McFarland Jr, and Malcolm Brown

Boston Scott, Eagles:
-Eagles have yet to add another back to relieve Miles Sanders, potentially leaving Scott with double-digit touches on a weekly basis
-Sanders averaged only 1.3 more FPG than Scott over the Eagles’ last 4 games
-Averaged 5 receptions and 87.5 yards over his last 5 games
-Caught 26 of 28 targets over last 5 games of the 2019 season
-With and ADP of 55, he’s being drafted behind guys like Jamaal Williams, Chase Edmonds and Rashaad Penny

Zack Moss, Bills:
-Taking over Frank Gore‘s role in Bills offense, a role where he had 182 touches in 2019.
-Dropped off a lot of radars due to poor combine performance(4.65 forty, 19 rep bench) and considerable injury history, but he should get significant goal line duties
-Has solid hands for a big back, so he can play 3rd downs
-With an ADP of 48, he’s being drafted behind guys like Tony Pollard and Darrell Henderson, both of whom he should end up scoring more than.

Antonio Gibson, Washington:
-Was already being touted as a special weapon in the passing game, and now WR Kelvin Harmon has been lost to a torn ACL, leaving a very shallow receiving corps
-Gibson mostly played WR in college, so he already has the acumen to be a pass-catcher
-Was the most efficient player in the FBS last year with 15.6 yards per touch, and led the FBS in yards after contact per attempt, so he doesn’t need a slew of touches to do considerable fantasy damage
-At an ADP of 58, he’s being drafted behind guys like Chase Edmunds and Justin Jackson, whose roles are anything but certain with new rookie additions
