Eagles – 34 @ Giants – 14

  • Wendell Smallwood(51 yards) out-touched Corey Clement 19 to 14, though Clement had the better day(69 yards, 1 TD). Both are flex starts moving forward, but Clement is the more explosive back with the higher upside.

  • Nelson Agholor‘s 91 yard game was deceptively productive. Most of his yards came on a 58 yard play where he was ignored by the defense, and he only had 3 catches on the day – a season low. He’s had 5 or fewer targets in all but one of Wentz’s starts.

  • Eli Manning(281 yards, 1 INT) is finally playing like his dour demeanor suggests he should. Most of his yards came thanks to Saquon Barkley shaking and baking, or in garbage time. Luckily for Manning, he gets Atlanta this week. That should be enough of a bandaid to play your Giants this week.

  • Evan Engram practiced this week, but he wasn’t able to put it together in time for the Thursday game. He should return this week, making Sterling Shepard a risky start once again.

Bears – 28 @ Dolphins – 31

  • The Bears offense seems to have turned a corner, and rightfully so. Mitch Trubisky has a slew of potent weapons, the most surprising of which is Taylor Gabriel(5 rec, 1 car, 119 yards). He’s had his 2nd straight 100+ yard game and needs to be owned.

  • We finally saw a glimpse of what Anthony Miller is capable of on a 29 yard catch and scamper into the endzone late in the game. Unfortunately that was his only catch on the day. He’s scored in 2 of his last 3 games, but Miller isn’t getting enough action to be on the fantasy radar.

  • Albert Wilson( 6 rec, 155 yards, 2 TD) made Brock Osweiler look like a real QB on Sunday, amounting for many of his 380 yards. Both are dart throw DFS plays this week, should Ryan Tannehill sit again, but I’m staying away from them in season long formats.

  • Frank Gore(16 tou, 119 yards) keeps imbibing from the fountain of youth, making Sunday his 3rd straight 60+ game. He was out-touched by Kenyan Drake 17 to 16, but this is an even timeshare, where Gore is the preferable back to own in standard formats. Drake is the guy in PPR.

Bills – 13 @ Texans – 20

  • Josh Allen left the game in the 3rd quarter with an elbow injury after throwing only for 84 yards and was followed by the comedy of errors that is Nathan Peterman(61 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT). The Bills signed journeyman Derek Anderson recently, who could and probably should start over both of them in Week 7 against the Colts.

  • There’s still no one worth bothering to roster on the Bills whose name isn’t LeSean McCoy, though Zay Jones( 3 rec, 35 yards, 1 TD) did have a decent game by Bills WR corps standards.

  • Alfred Blue had 9 touches to Lamar Miller‘s 17 on Sunday, alleviating Miller owners’ fears that he would usurp the middling starter. Blue probably won’t take the job, but D’Onta Foreman very well could. Foreman is eligible to return in Week 7 and would be a welcome addition to a mediocre backfield. Of course, the Texans’ O-line is bad enough to make it hard for any back to thrive, but Foreman is a solid add in any case.

  • Deshaun Watson had a rough day against the Bills, throwing 2 INTS and fumbling 3 times, and things probably won’t be much easier against the Jags this week. The Cowboys managed to have their way with them, but the Cowboys’ O-line is considerably better than Houston’s. DeAndre Hopkins is the only sure bet in that one.

Buccaneers – 29 @ Falcons – 34

  • The Bucs moved back to Peyton Barber(17 tou, 106 yards, 1 TD) this week after speculation that Ronald Jones would move up after the Week 5 bye. Barber out-touched Jones 17 to 4, so it wasn’t even close. He’ll be an underwhelming flex option in Week 7 against Cleveland.

  • O.J. Howard (4 rec, 62 yards, 1 TD) had no setbacks from his recently sprained MCL and will be the preferred option over Cameron Brate going forward.

  • Jameis Winston has always liked Adam Humphries( 3 rec, 82 yards), but I wouldn’t read too deeply into Humphries’ line on Sunday. Most of his yardage came in a 51 yard chunk, and he’s otherwise not getting enough targets to matter.

  • It’s Week 7, and just as I suspected, Julio Jones is still without a TD. I wrote a piece several years ago detailing his lack of TD production throughout his career, even back in college, and he’s remained pretty consistent. It kind of makes the fact that he’s so reliable in fantasy that much more impressive though.

  • Ito Smith out-touched Tevin Coleman 13 to 11 in this one. Both players saved their days with TDs, but they were mostly ineffective otherwise. Devonta Freeman is dealing with foot and groin injuries right now, so it’s conceivable that Week 7 will be another timeshare.

  • Austin Hooper had his 2nd straight 70+ yard game in Week 6. He’s unowned in over 30% of leagues, so pick him up and play him.

  • Calvin Ridley escaped this game with a bone bruise in his ankle, but the team might sit him out until after their Week 8 bye. Mohamed Sanu might be a nice preemptive add for those who can fit him in.

Cardinals – 17 @ Vikings – 27

  • Josh Rosen isn’t not struggling overall(240 yards, 1 INT), but he zeroes in on Christian Kirk(6 rec, 77 yards), so Kirk continues to succeed. Larry Fitzgerald actually led the team with 8 targets, but could only manage 39 yards on the day.

  • Latavius Murray is no special player, but it’s hard to ignore his 25 tou, 158 yard, 1 TD day. He makes for a reasonable RB2 start if Dalvin Cook can’t go this week.

  • Kirk Cousins was under duress most of the day, using Adam Thielen like a safety blanket. Stefon Diggs is still the better talent and deep threat, but Thielen is Cousin’s go-to guy when things get hairy.

Chargers – 38 @ Browns – 14

  • Tyrell Williams had the game of his career on Sunday, racking up 118 yards and 2 TDs on just 3 receptions. It was a stellar day for him, but he’s still untouchable in season long fantasy. He hasn’t topped 3 receptions once this season.

  • Rookie Damien Ratley led the Browns in receiving with 6 catches for 82 yards. With little competition in the WR corps outside of Jarvis Landry, R.I.P Antonio Callaway, he makes for an intriguing pick and play against the Buccaneers this week.

  • Duke Johnson had a decent fantasy outing(6 tou, 109 yards), but he hasn’t topped 6 touches this season. His floor is low, but he could have another big day against the Bucs this week.

  • Carlos Hyde(14 tou, 34 yards) is proving to be somewhat TD dependent after a strong start to the season. The fact that he is largely ignored in the passing game doesn’t help his case in what should be a cherry matchup with Tampa this week.

Colts – 34 @ Jets – 42

  • Marlon Mack stepped right back in as the Colts lead back and immediately boosted the running game(13 tou, 93 yards). Nyheim Hines will stay involved in the passing game, but Mack needs to be owned and started in plus matchups.

  • Chester Rogers(10 tar, 4 rec, 55 yards, 1 TD) continues to be the Colts’ premier pass catcher, with T.Y. Hilton sitting out. He’s had 3 straight double-digit fantasy days, but he’s only owned in 16% of leagues. If Hilton sits again in Week 7, Rogers needs to be started in all but the shallowest of formats.

  • Andre Roberts stepped in for Quincy Enunwa upon Enunwa injuring his ankle on Sunday, but it was Jermaine Kearse who absorbed his targets(9 rec, 94 yards). There were indications that the injury might be serious, so Kearse is probably worth adding this week. He’s the slot WR, so he should still be able to find some success against the formidable Vikings this week,of which I cannot say the same about Terrelle Pryor.

  • Sam Darnold is starting to put things together with his 2nd respectable outing in a row(280 yards, 2 TD, 1 INT). Unfortunately for him, he has somewhat of a murderer’s row of defenses for the rest of the season. I’m still gun shy on starting him.

Panthers – 17 @ Redskins – 23

  • Greg Olsen(4 rec, 48 yards) played 59 of 60 snaps in Week 6, so it’s evident that he wasn’t limited. There’s a very good chance he re-injures himself this season, foot injuries are like that, but you have to start him while you have him.

  • D.J. Moore(4 rec, 59 yards) lost 2 fumbles on Sunday, but stayed active in the Panthers offense. They seem intent on getting him more involved, regardless of his rookie mishaps. He’s easily the best talented receiver they have, so that makes sense. He’s still just a stash, but Moore’s best days are ahead of him this season.

  • Adrian Peterson(17 tou, 97 yards) had a nice game in Chris Thompson‘s absence, while Kapri Bibbs(3 tou, 16 yards) did squat. Should Thompson sit again, I wouldn’t bother with any back other than AP.

  • For what it’s worth, and that’s not much, Paul Richardson(3 rec, 31 yards, 1 TD) has been the Redskins’ best WR this season. He’s still unusable in all but the deepest formats.

Seahawks – 27 @ Raiders – 3

  • The Seahawks are intent on getting Rashaad Penny action(11 tou, 70 yards). He’s playing ahead of Mike Davis, even though Davis has been more effective. Some of his usage may be attributed to the fact that Seattle was playing with a lead for most of the game, but his constant presence doesn’t bode well for Chris Carson.

  • David Moore scored another TD this week and looks to be the primary red-zone target for Seattle, since none of the TEs are doing anything down there. He’s going to be TD dependent, but he’s worth a look in deep and dynasty formats.

  • The whole Raiders offense was in shambles for this one. You could blame the long flight to London, but Seattle was coming from the same time zone. Both Amari Cooper and Seth Roberts were concussed, but both have the bye week to get right.

  • Jalen Richard(7 rec, 48 yards) is Oakland’s most consistent pass-catcher. He is used primarily when the Raiders fall behind, and that’s most of the time.

Steelers – 28 @ Bengals – 21

  • Le’Veon Bell has yet to report to the Steelers on Monday, putting his Week 7 return into question. If you still have James Conner, it’s not a bad idea to hold onto him instead of trading. They’re going to use him regardless of when Bell returns.

  • The Bengals all performed well despite what is often a low scoring divisional game. Fire them up as usual against K.C. this week, in what should be a shootout.

Rams – 23 @ Broncos – 20

  • Jared Goff finally had a pedestrian game(201 yards, 1 INT), as Todd Gurley(208 yards rushing) set a personal record on the ground. Goff and the Rams should return to form against SF this week.

  • Cooper Kupp appeared to wreck his knee only to come back after the half. He didn’t record a catch, so there may be more to this story. Keep an eye on his practices during the week. Josh Reynolds would be next up in his absence.

  • Courtland Sutton(3 rec, 58 yards) continues to contribute, as much as a 3rd WR can, in the Keenum Case led Broncos offense. HC Vance Joseph is tied to Keenum, so don’t expect any changes anytime soon. Sutton is strictly a dynasty prospect at the current time.

Jaguars – 7 @ Cowboys – 40

  • Blake Bortles(149 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT) has thrown 5 INT to 2 TD over his last two games. The Jags sorely need Leonard Fournette to balance out this offense, as Bortles doesn’t play well from behind. Hopefully Fournette gets back this week, but I’m wary of any Jags pass-catchers against the Texans.

  • Cole Beasley( 9 rec, 101 yards, 2 TD) had his 1st 100+ yard game in almost 3 years against a Jags team the Cowboys weren’t going to attack outside. You could see a similar game script against Washington this week, so he deserves a look in PPR formats.

Ravens – 21 @ Titans – 0

  • Alex Collins out-touched Buck Allen 19 to 4 in this one, but the Ravens play the Saints this week, so he may fade to second fiddle in what should be a pass-catchers script.

  • Willie Snead(7 rec, 60 yards) is starting to show up with decent PPR stat lines. He can be used in deeper formats against the Saints.

  • Nothing to say about the Titans offense this week. They get the Chargers at Wembley this week, so maybe they’ll put some life into their game. Still Corey Davis it the only Titan I’m fooling with in this one.

Chiefs – 40 @ Patriots – 43

  • In what most saw as Patrick Mahomes‘(352 yards, 4 TD, 2 INT) first true test, he almost bested the “best” QB to play the game in Tom Brady. He’s matchup proof, so start him and Chiefs skill players with no reservations.

  • Chris Hogan had a nice game(4 rec, 78 yards), but pretty much every Pats pass-catcher did too. Josh Gordon(5 rec, 42 yards) led the team in targets(9), and it’s only a matter of time before he explodes.

  1. 1-5 after 6 weeks. My first 4 picks were Fournette, KAllen, JGordon and DHenry so probably not surprised. League decided to make this 2 player keeper for next season. Thinking of making some moves to increase my keeper options as only 4 teams make the playoffs on this 12 team 0.5 ppr. My current rb’s are:Fournette, Henry, Hines, Yeldon, KJohnson. Wr’s are:KAllen, Golladay, Sanders, JGordon, Callaway and Kirk. Any thoughts on dropping Henry and/or Callaway and picking up Foreman and/or Guice looking ahead to next year?

    1. I’d say drop one of kirk or callaway for guice, if you can keep him for cheap next year it seems like a no brainer

    2. Post By Baron VonIronCock

      Pick up Guice, Drop Callaway
But I don’t see a scenario where you don’t keep LF and Keenan

Start trading players for picks for next yr – if you can ?

      1. You lose your pick for the rd your keeper was drafted so Lenny and KAllen would be my 1st 2…not sure i’d do that. FA pickups (Guice) would be last round. I look at my current roster and feel Golladay (10th) and KJohnson (7th) would b my best options but looking to make a move here to improve upon that. By the way, we can’t trade players for picks. Dudes in this league are real reluctant to trade anything, especially now that there is a keeper component next year.

  2. Where is Morris???

    1. they replaced him with mostert to keep things uptempo i’m guessing.

  3. Trade Offer:

I give up James Conner and receive Jordan Howard

    1. fair trade in the expected long run. the steelers will continue to use conner even when bell reports though

    2. Post By Baron VonIronCock

Howard is terrible this season, I have officially dropped him in an 8 team league.

  4. Post By Bounty3153@hotmail.com

    12 team PPR 3-3 record.

Being offered David Johnson and OBJ for Conner and Tyreek. I’m concerned with Bell’s possible return on top of the upcoming bye when I need very win I can get.

    1. i’d do that trade

    2. Post By Baron VonIronCock

      I’m with TM !

  5. I am mostly streaming QBs I am now 5-1
Right now I have JWinston and ADalton not much on waiver
Can I get rid of 1 of them to make room for bench scrap I need for byes?
Or hang on to both and pick each weekend?

    1. i think either one is pretty safe at this point. i only carry one qb normally.

  6. Team: the champ is here

Trade my saquon for hunt, Boyd and galloday? Ppr

My wrs are absolute shit as I went 3 rbs to start and Marvin Jones hasn’t panned out yet.

  7. Mr irrelevant- 4-2
    .5 ppr 10 team league, 2wr 2rb one flex

    Qb Ryan
Rbs David Johnson, Sony, Hyde, K Johnson, and Cohen
Wr K Allen, Evans, Boyd, Sanders, J Gordon

Wanting to package either David Johnson or Sony with a wr or two to try to get Gurley, Barkley or hunt.

I sent out an offer of Evans and DJ for gurley and I sent one out of DJ and Keenan for Saquon do you think those are about right for an offer? Who would you look to keep out of Sony and dj? It’s killing me having Sanders Gordon and Cohen all on my bench so I feel like I need to offer someone something big to try to nail one of the top 3-4 runners. Thanks for your help

    1. i’d want to keep sony. those are both generous offers

  8. Saquon will win OROY. Mahomes is not a rookie.

    1. keep forgetting the red shirted him

  9. Need a TE replacement for week 7 but there are players that look good for the rest of the season — how would you rank these — Njoku, Howard, or Hooper. thanks

    1. howard, njoku, hooper

  10. Post By woo.jonathanwoo

Where are we with Devin Funchess? I was offered Funchess in exchange for Freeman, whom I’m inclined to dump for just about anyone with a pulse.

    1. I would hold onto freeman. neither coleman or smith is blowing anyone away in his absence. dj moore is getting more and more playing time in carolina.

  11. PPR, I have coleman/freeman, yeldon/fournette/Charles & G. Bernard. Is it worth dropping anyone for I. Smith(?$5 add/drop plus you must submit bid on player).

    1. i could drop bernard if you’re not a mixon owner.

  12. Should I drop Big Ben for Wentz (he’s on ww)? Or hold onto Ben and drop someone else on my roster for Wentz?

    QB: Ben
WR: TY, C. Davis, C. Ridley, Gordon, Sanders
RB: Saquon, Gordon, Connor, K. Johnson, Cook
    TE: Olsen

    Thanks!

  13. Trade offer received this morning:
Send James Conner, Calvin Ridley, Kerryon Johnson, Josh Gordon
Receive Ezekiel Elliott, Jordy Nelson, Deshaun Watson, Will Fuller

    QB: Winston
RB: Gurley, Mixon, Howard, Johnson, Gio
WR: JuJu, Marvin Jones, Ridley, John Brown, Josh Gordon

    Do it? Propose a modification?
    Thanks in advance!

    1. Post By Baron VonIronCock

      That one is tough.
If you can start 3 rbs maybe yeah
maybe remove Watson from the deal and also remove Gordon ?

      1. We can start three rbs (one flex position)

  14. Post By littlebit0440@gmail.com

Would you trade away Hogan for Marvin Jones Jr.?

    1. Post By Baron VonIronCock

      I would !
Jones has to shape up, knowing that tate is a free agent ..
Plus his bye is already passed

  15. Post By mark51schichtel@gmail.com

Would you guys consider a Keenan Allen for David Johnson trade? .5 PPR and I am light on running backs (just Conner and Jordan Howard) but heavy on WR (Hopkins, Brown, Thielen, Edelman, Allen. 1 RB league 2 flex.

    1. yeah, i can live with that for sure.

      1. Post By mark51schichtel@gmail.com

Thanks Trash. That is the way I was leaning.

  16. Drop Hines and pick up Mack ?

    1. Standard league

  17. Post By mamacellas@yahoo.com

I am in 1 point PPR. My receivers Hopkins, Thielen, Sanders, Allen Robinson,Cobb. Thanks to you guys. RBs Kamara, Collins, Alfred Morris not Murray thanks to you guys ha ha.

love tarik’s matchup with Pats and his upside, i am just so so on sanders matchup against cards could be a lot of running for both teams

    help needed asap

    Lone Wolf 4-2

  19. i’m fine sitting sanders. his upside is limited against the cardinals

  20. Post By Applethorne@yahoo.com

1 point ppr… need two… Marquise Goodwin, Will fuller or J. Howard
    also Mayfield or Trubisky

    1. Post By Applethorne@yahoo.com

      thank You

  21. Trashman I need your opinion!!

You and I are both Josh Gordon truthers. And he appears to be on the precipice of validating that belief. However, I am being offered a Gordon for Lev Bell trade. 1/2 point PPR and I am 2-4 and I need a win this week. Its a 16 team league and my record is out of the playoffs now but a win or 2 should get me back in. We have a 12 game schedule.

    My team:

    Leonard Fournette
    Joe Mixon
    Phillip Lindsey
    Josh Gordon
    Kenny Golliday
    John Brown
    Christian Kirk
    Doug Baldwin

    What are your thoughts?

  22. Post By madridbrowns@gmail.com

Do I use C.Kirk or Kerryon Johnson in my flex this week? .5 pt ppr.

I could also swap out Marvin Jones for C. Kirk as my WR2 and play Kerryon in my flex.

    What do you think?
