Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 6

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 6

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure, and we’re putting that saying to the test in Week 6…

Quarterback

Case Keenum, Broncos: Strangely, Keenum has been better in fantasy than real life, putting up garbage time numbers that do little to actually help his team. That’s all fine for us though, and Keenum is going to have plenty of garbage time opportunities in a game in which he’s going to have to air it out to keep up with Jared Goff and company.

Running Back

Mike Davis, Seahawks: Davis put up 68 yards and  a TD, even with Chris Carson back in the fold last week. The Raiders shouldn’t prove to be too difficult a task to overcome.

Ronald Jones, Buccaneers: Jones hasn’t been much better than Peyton Barber, but the Bucs have him on a longer leash. They’ll give him every opportunity to succeed in what should be a high scoring game with the Falcons.

Marlon Mack, Colts: Mack is seeing his first action since Week 1, and it looks like he’ll step into the first two-down back spot. Nyheim Hines will be in the mix as well, but Mack should see plenty of action, especially with T.Y. Hilton out.

Ito Smith, Falcons: Smith is playing behind Tevin Coleman in the highest over/under matchup this week. He scored last week, even when Devonta Freeman was starting.

Wide Receiver

Chester Rogers, Colts: I’m kinds of shocked Rogers isn’t owned in more leagues after averaging 8 receptions and 70 yards over his last two games. T.Y. Hilton is out, so Rogers is splitting top dog duties with Ryan Grant, who is also worth a look in PPR formats.

Courtland Sutton, Broncos: Sutton gets more involved every week it seems, and he should see a handful of redzone targets this week, as the Broncos aim to keep up scoring with the Rams. He’s basically a tight end with wheels.

Antonio Callaway, Browns: The Browns are without Rashard Higgins for at least this week, so Callaway becomes the no.2 option behind Jarvis Landry against the Ravens.

Taylor Gabriel, Bears: Gabriel is coming off a huge Week 4 in which he led the Bears in receiving with 104 yards and 2 TDs. He’ll look to build off of that this week against a Miami team whose lockdown corner is likely going to be on Allen Robinson most of the day.

Christian Kirk, Cardinals: Kirk has been Josh Rosen’s favorite target over the last few games, and he’s topped 85 yards in two of those contests.

Tight End

C.J. Uzomah, Bengals: Uzomah has a cushy matchup this week with the Steelers, who have given up the 2nd most points to TEs on the season.

Geoff Swaim, Cowboys: Swaim has been the most consistent pass catcher not named Zeke for the Cowboys over the last 3 games. The ‘Boys aren’t likely to attack the Jags on the outside, so expect Swaim to stay involved this week.

Need help with who to play at my WR and flex, 1 pt PPR, right now I have White and Connor starting at RB, and Cooks and Green at WR, for other WR spot have to choose between Coutee, Godwin, and Callaway and then for flex whoever I don’t choose from WR and also have Crowell and Hines as possible flex, appreciate the help.

    1. Coutee for the WR spot.
      Hines for the Flex.

    2. Post By woo.jonathanwoo

      Sushi rolled the right way.

Coutee probably has the best upside of those three WR, especially in terms of volume. Hines is a PPR stud.

      1. I see what you did there

In a must win game this week. I’m 1-4 and my opponent started Jeffery and Barkely.

Need to upgrade my WR3 (Anthony Miller). Trade away Ingram for Brandin Cook or Baldwin?

    1. If you have the RB depth probably Cooks. You maybe able to ask for both Cooks and Baldwin after the game Ingram had.

  4. Standard scoring… gotta sit one. J Brown, A Robinson, J Gordon or S Watkins?

    1. Gordon would be my choice.

    2. Post By woo.jonathanwoo

Gordon is probably the way to go. But if you need to go all out and Hogan doesn’t play, Flash is certainly a viable play.

    Thanks

    1. Post By woo.jonathanwoo

I don’t think it’s crazy. I don’t know if I could sit any Rams players, but it’s not crazy.

  14. Trashman, Alex, Byron

Just wanted to say thanks for all that y’all do. The research, the tools, the effort – all that while keeping up with the most maniacal of your subscribers.

  15. This Dalvin Cook saga is brutal. Would you still roll with him or replace him with Peterson or Alf Morris? 0.5 PPR
    Team: Toe Drag Swag

Pick 2 in standard. Hines, morris, lamar miller, cobb. Right now I’m leaning hines and morris.

Also need a play in PPR.
AB, melvin gordon, mixon, sanders, and corey davis are a go. Need one from josh gordon, fitz, AP, morris.

Thanks RosterWatch, time to pile up the wins.

  20. Post By woo.jonathanwoo

    Hines and Morris are good.

I’d lean AP in the PPR.

  21. 10 team PPR, 2-QB. Leaning to start Keenum over A Smith to go with Luck at QB spot. Also, Packers DST over Jags crazy?

    1. Keenum must air out in the snow against the Rams. I would probably roll Keenum over Smith.

I don’t mind the Packers DST on the Jags.

  22. Have a trade offer, my Julio Jones for Kelce and Amari Cooper.
Other wrs are Jarvis Landry, Corey Davis, Sammy Watkins and Coutee. I have been streaming TEs have Brate currently. Thanks guys!

    1. Stream TEs. No go for me on the trade. Keep Julio unless you get Kelce and a WR1/WR2 besides Cooper.

In DraftKings is Goff too risky in the cold / potential snow vs. someone like Winston or Rivers?

    1. you’re fine to play him in GPP.

  24. Was starting Morrris. With Brieda possibly playing do I start Buck Allen or Lamar Miller instead? It’s flex. So could go with Callaway or Kirk from AZ?

    1. I say stick with Morris, Breida should be limited.

      1. Any word on what happened to Morris. He hasn’t seen a single carry tonight.

  25. Post By brettrdoyle@gmail.com

    Cohen or travis boyd ppr

    1. Hope you started Boyd. Dalton looks to him alot besides AJ Green.

  26. Post By miguelmateos5688@yahoo.com

12 team standard… Do I trade bro Mixon for Aaron Jones and Baldwin?

    1. I would not do it.

  27. Post By miguelmateos5688@yahoo.com

Same league was just offered Golladay for Kerryon Johnson. Thoughts?

    1. If you need the WR and have alot of depth in RB. I would probably do it if that is the case.

  28. Michel or tyreek? 1 point ppr

  29. I started tyreek and after the first quarter said……it’s early. This guy was off my cheat sheet in the third round. I got this. Now, Michel put up a good fight but the freak got it done! Now up 157 to 79.

  30. What’s going on with will fuller? Should he be dropped. It looks like it’s all going to hopkins and Keke. Would you prefer the likes of Godwin / Dede?

  31. Trade offer:
I give up James Conner and receive Jordan Howard
