Trashman’s Garbage Grab Bag: Week 13

Trashman’s Garbage Grab Bag: Week 13

It’s Week 13, so hopefully you don’t have to use these guys. I feel good about your chances if you do though…

Quarterback

Nick Foles, Jaguars: Foles hasn’t been great since he’s returned to action after missing almost the entire fantasy season with injury, but he has a can’t miss matchup with league worst secondary Tampa Bay this week.

Running Back

Benny Snell Jr. Steelers: Snell was the main ball carrier last week, with James Conner sitting, picking up 98 yards on 21 carries. Conner is doubtful again this week, making Snell the obvoius choice for the bulk of touches against Cleveland.

Darrel Williams, Chiefs: Damien Williams is out this week, leaving the backfield to Darrel, LeSean McCoy and possibly Darwin Thompson. Darrel has the best chance to score in my opinion.

Wide Receiver

Darius Slayton, Giants: No Golden Tate or Evan Engram makes Slayton a prime candidate for major action against Green Bay this week. His big play potential makes him a high ceiling flex.

A.J. Brown, Titans: Brown is starting to string together consistent fantasy performances, and the Titans may lean more on the pass week with Derrick Henry tweaking his hamstring late in the week.

Chris Conley, Jaguars: There are a lot of mouths to feed in Jacksonville these days, but Conley should get plenty of looks against Tampa’s terrible secondary this week.

Tight End

Kaden Smith, Giants: Smith scored in Evan Engram’s absence last week, and though he didn’t get a ton of targets, he has a favorable matchup this week against Green Bay and Engram is still sitting.

slayton or aj brown as a flex over Phillip Lindsay in a 1 pt. ppr? drew lock starting for broncos and Derwin James is back for chargers.

I would still go Lindsay who should have a higher market share and is less boom/ bust raising his floor. But if you are a favorite, AJ Brown may have the most upside.

  2. Full ppr. Sutton or Boyd in the flex?

I really like Boyd in the match up and would lean him in a PPR since Dalton is back. Casey Hayward scares me a little with Sutton. He is a beast and has the higher upside with greater TD potential. Boyd floor, Sutton ceiling. It’s very close.

  3. Good morning, need 2 ppr from Carson, Guice, Deebo, Cooks, Conley, Shepard & N’keal. Thanks for the help.

If it’s my team, I’m playing Carson on Monday night and Guice. If you don’t trust Guice since he is on WAS, I am ok to go Cooks against Arizona. If it’s going to happen, it should be this week… He is due. Gook luck!

  4. .5 ppr, need to pick 2 flex positions. Kirk, K Allen, Snell, Sanders. Pretty sure Sanders is locked into 1, cant decide on the last one.

If you’re sold on Sanders (Miles or Emmanuel??) then I won’t talk you off. It’s really tough between Kirk who I think will have a great game or Allen who I would choose in a vacuum, but I just don’t trust with Rivers in Denver to get him the ball reliably. I’ll try to get to this question live on the start/ sit show today to get the others’ opinion. This is a tough one.

      1. Sorry, it is Miles. No love for Snell?

  5. Need Input,

    -Cousins or Kyler Murray?

-Thielen or find someone else for flex (Auden Tate, AJ Brown, or Demaryius Thomas)?

    -Pats D or Jets D?

  6. 12 team standard Waller or Higbee
