Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 14
Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 14
RosterWatch.com
It’s week one of the playoffs for most. I generally advise to dance with who brung ya at this part of the season, but that may not be possible for everyone. Here’s something for the true trash men and women out there…
Quarterback
Trevor Siemian, Broncos: Siemian put up 368 yards and 3 TDs against the Cheifs in his last start, which is no small feat these days. He faces Titans team that gives it up to QBs this week.
Runningback
Ty Montgomery, Packers: Like it or not, Montgomery is the Packers best back and perhaps their best shot at scoring on the Seahawks on Sunday.
Mike Gillislee, Bills: Gill has scored in 4 of his last 5 games, regardless if Shady was around or not. He’s going to get his opportunities against Pittsburgh.
Jacquizz Rodgers/Charles Sims, Bucaneers: Both of these guys could get run in a plus matchup with the Saints. The Bucs are short on pass catchers, and these two are efficient at that very thing.
Justin Forsett, Broncos: Forsett might not get a ton of work his first week in, but he needs to be owned. He could be leading the backfield next week.
Wide Receiver
Taylor Gabriel, Falcons: There’s a strong chance Julio Jones will be a decoy if he even plays against the Bucs on Sunday. Gabriel is likely to be Atlanta’s best chance of moving the ball through the air.
Malcolm Mitchell, Patriots: Mitchell is owned in far too few leagues. What more does he need to do to prove himself? He’s only been the Pats big playmaker for weeks now..
Brandon LaFell, Bengals: LaFell’s red-zone presence is his saving grace. If he doesn’t draw Haden he could have a big day.
Ted Ginn, Panthers: Ginn has been Carolina’s best WR over the last 4 weeks. When Cam takes a shot, it’s going to be to Ginn.
Dontrelle Inman, Chargers: Inman is now the no.2 WR behind Williams in a pass happy Chargers offense.
Tight End
Vance McDonald, 49ers: Fresh off a big payday, McDonald is riding “high” as San Fran’s best receiver. Take that however you will…
Dwayne Allen, Colts: He scored 3 TDs last week. If he does a third as good we’re happy…
