They keep getting hurt. We keep filling in the blanks. It’s a Trashman’s world this season, and I couldn’t be happier. Here’s the Grab….

 

Wide Receiver

Hunter Renfrow, Raiders – 34% owned

The Chiefs defend the pass pretty well actually, but the Raiders are going to have to air it out to stay in the game. Henry Ruggs is returning, but that may actually open things up for Renfrow, who has been leading the Raiders receivers in his stead. 

 

Cole Beasley, Bills – 28% owned

Beasley has never had the highest ceiling, but it’s hard to deny his usefulness in PPR formats. He’s an every week flex in this high-flying Bills offense going against a middling Titans defense. 

 

Tim Patrick, Broncos – 19% owned

Injuries have created opportunities for Patrick, who has scored in each of his last 2 games and went over 100 yards in his most recent one. The Broncos play the Pats this week, and knowing that the Pats will sell out to stop their best weapon – Melvin Gordon – the Broncos will have to go throw it to compete. 

 

Olamide Zaccheaus, Falcons – 6% owned

Zaccheaus led the Falcons in targets(9) and yards last week(86) with Julio Jones sidelined, and Jones looks doubtful to play again this week. Russell Gage is a decent option as well, if he isn’t rostered in your league already. 

 

Running Back

Justin Jackson, Chargers – 38% Owned

Jackson looked like a sure bet to be the odd man out behind Austin Ekeler and Joshua Kelley, before Ekeler landed on IR with a hamstring injury. Now Jackson is in line for double digit touches against a ho-hum Saints run defense. 

 

Malcolm Brown, Rams – 39% owned

Brown surprised everyone when he came out to lead the Rams in carries in Week 4 after Darrell Henderson was the bell cow back in Week 3 while Brown was out. It’s anyone’s guess who will lead the Rams rushing attack this week, but Brown is averaging the most touches after 4 weeks. 

 

Mo Alie-Cox, Colts – 37% owned

I feel like MAC is here a lot, but he keeps producing, and people keep sleeping on him. He was saved by a TD last week, but he’s had either 100+ yards or a score in 3 of 4 games so far. 

 

Quarterback

Kirk Cousins, Vikings – 30% owned

I still don’t like Cousins as a season long QB, but this matchup with the Seahawks is too juicy to pass up. Smoke em if you got em.

      Renfrow has looked playable. And though the floor is zero. Claypool showed he can flip the field.

    What are your feelings on the browns rbs Hilliard of Johnson and is Justin Jackson more playable then both?

      Johnson is the more valuable of the two, but I prefer Jackson to both.

    The rescheduled game kind of screwed me I need a RB something serious. My only option on my bench is Akers, the following players on available on the wire. Moss, Dobbins, Breda, would you take any of these guys over Akers and is there someone at the bottom of the wire you guys think may ha e a decent game?

    .5 ppr With Titans game still up in the air I need a TE in place of Jonnu Smith. Slim Pickens on WW. Greg Olsen vs Minn, Jared Cook(Questionable Monday Night) vs Chargers, Logan Thomas vs Rams with Kyle Allen @ QB. I’m thinking the QB change may help Logan Thomas. Thoughts?

    OBJ or DJ Moore in the flex?
    Hunter Henry or Jonnu Smith at TE?

    OBJ’s performance last week is great, but fluky. DJ Moore has been cucked, but has the better matchup.

    Henry hasn’t found the endzone all season, but as the slightly better matchup. Smith is a frequent endzone visitor, but RW rankings have him quite lower than Henry.

      I love Henry this week and I”m worried about the Titans game even happening. DJM and OBJ are projecting literally 4 receiving yards apart. I may side with the better mathcup and hope that DJM turns it around this week. GL, hang in there.
