PRO Trashman’s Week 1 Flex Rankings

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions. Please refer to the Rankings tab for our staff positional rankings (these are updated throughout the day Thursday and through the weekend).

(Based on .5 PPR scoring).

  1. -Full PPR , Aaron Jones, Pacheco, or RJ Harvey?
-Full PPR, 6pt TD, 1pt completion:
Tua, Caleb Williams, JJ Mcarthy and Stroud and please rank ROS.
My team is solid but I think I waited too long for a QB.
    – Hampton or Pollard

    Thanks RW

    1. think I personally go Jones

I wouldn’t rank those QBs ROS because I would play the one I like best this week and then stream, hoping that along the way I find a guy that I can stick with like Baker last year, etc. but this week I like Tua.

Pollard for me until we see what Hampton’s true usage is.

  2. 1 point ppr week 1 flex – james cook or garrett wilson?

    1. Post By Jon in Cedar Park

Not to be that guy, but if you click on the link above the spreadsheet will literally answer this question.

      1. Isn’t the sheet above 1/2 point ppr? I think they typically specify what scoring type because rankings change based on how the player’s production is scored. Maybe not!

    2. I would start Cook over Wilson this week, but check what Trashman said too.

      1. Appreciate it, Alex. I read the spreadsheet but didn’t know if switching to full point ppr would make an impact on starting a wr over rb in the flex spot when they are generally pretty close in rankings and expected points

  3. You are literally are being that guy
I personally like hearing these guys personal insight something a spreadsheet can’t give me..
If that touches you in some way IDGAF!!

  4. lol simmer down boys RW Nation is family, but we understand some people can get a little worked up over fantasy!!! 😉

  5. Not even the kickoff and I’m getting trade offer.

Someone offered me: Javonte Williams (or Tank which sounds awful), Jordan Addison & Colston Loveland for David Montgomery an d Ricky Pearsall. Seems interesting.

Currently starting Cook, Bijan, Sutton, Sun God, Tet McMillan, & Kincaid. JCM, Hollywood Brown & Keon Coleman are next in line on my bench after who I’d be trading.

    1. AJ Brown not ARSB, but still the same. It is full PPR, btw.

    2. I”d probably stay put

  6. WE ARE FINALLY HERE ROSTERWATCH NATION!!!!!!!
    Full PPR – Bench 1;
Lamb, St.Brown, McConkey, JSN, DeVonta Smith
Currently I have Smith Benched. I know it’s a STACKED WR Room, this league has a RB Premium of 0.5 per rush attempt, So the RB’s go quick.

Here is to a GREAT SEASON GENTLEMEN!!!

    1. I literally just looked at the sheet Trashman smh, cool ill stay with what I got!

      1. LFG!!!!!!!

  7. What would you do with Christian Kirk if you don’t have an IR slot? Is it worth holding or would you drop for Jaylin Noel (14 tm .5 por league w/2 flex spots and decent benches so not much on the waiver wire)

    1. Post By Cody Carpentier

I think we’re gonna hold onto Kirk for now, unless you need a starter this week to fill in. In which case, we aren’t confident in Noel in that role off the rip, Higgins should get more high value touches and they love Hutchinson as well. Anybody else on the streets?

  8. Full ppr flex spot Mims Mooney or Sampson and TE Ertz or Strange. I’m projected to be a big underdog. Thanks you guys are the goats

    1. Post By Cody Carpentier

      Strange at TE!

We like some Marvin Mims this weekend, soft WR room as far as depth, finished the season strong and continues to get lip service form Payton and Nix! Not ready for Sampson quite yet.

      Best of Luck!

      1. Thank you

  9. .5 ppr 12 team start 3WR @ rrb and Flex
Do I trade TreVeyon Henderson for Tyreek Hill ?

    My starting WR.
    Tetairoa McMillan
    George Pickens
    Calvin Ridley

    Starting RB
    TreVeyon Henderson
    Alvin Kamara
    Jahmyr Gibbs

  10. Happy Week 1 RosterWatch Nation
    PPR League (s):
    Need 2 WRs: M.Harrison Jr, Egbuka, & Tet.McMillan?

    PPR (Diff league):
    Need 1 WR;
    JSN, Egbuka, or Tet McMillan?

  11. 0.5ppr currently CMC (if he’s active I’m playing him) and Tyrone Tracey at RB 1 and 2 and Jakobi Meyers in flex would you play Etienne Bigsby or Charbonnet over either of those. Jerome Ford is on the wire would you pick him up and start him over either of those and would you drop Kaleb Johnson for Ford. Thanks goats

    1. Post By Cody Carpentier

I would not be dropping Kaleb, one of my top rules in season-long is stay the course with Rookie RBs through the season and try to acquire those in potential situations.

We would play Etienne! It’s very close though, if you have a solid feeling on Meyers, the project within a point of eachother.

If you did want to add Jerome Ford, we would recommend cutting Bigsby. But with Judkins signing this weekend, it’s not mandatory

  12. PPR – Hunter Henry or Evan Engram? Thanks Gents!

  13. PPR- Cook, Sutton or Ridley at Flex?

    1. Post By Cody Carpentier

Love me some James Cook this week and then I’ll prefer Sutton in that TEN/DEN game – Ridley is going to get his targets… but it might get ugly against the best DBs in the sport
