Trashman’s Week 12 Garbage Grab

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 12

I hope the only turkeys you’ll have this week are leftovers from Thanksgiving. Here’s the grab for Week 12!

Running Back

Kyren Williams, Rams – 34% rostered

The Rams waived Darrell Henderson this week, leaving Williams and Cam Akers to man the backfield in LA. Akers has been a letdown this season to fantasy owners and the Rams alike, so expect Williams to get all the run he can handle now, as they see what they have in him.

Jerrick McKinnon, Chiefs – 35% rostered

Clyde Edwards-Helaire is on IR, so the onus is on McKinnon and rookie Isiah Pacheco to tote the rock for the Chiefs. McKinnon has already been a consistent receiving element for the Chiefs, so I just expect his role to grow as he was their best back during their playoff push last season.

Wide Receiver

Nico Collins, Texans – 24% rostered

Brandin Cooks seems to have pretty much given up on the Texans this season, as have a lot of their fans. Collins has seen a marginal boost in targets over his last 2 games, as the Texans are looking to other sources than Cooks to move the ball down the field. Collins has the size to win most contests, so if and when the Texans get into scoring position, which they’ll have to versus Miami, Collins will be a primary target.

Zay Jones, Jaguars – 23% rostered

Jones is coming off of his highest catch total(8) the week before the Jags’ bye, and expect him to stay heavily involved against a Ravens team that can stifle the run but is pretty easy to throw against.

Demarcus Robinson, Ravens – 17% rostered

Keep an eye on his availability, but Robinson looks like the top WR option for the Ravens going into Week 12 after posting an impressive 9/128 line against Carolina in Week 11.

Quarterback

Marcus Mariota, Falcons – 38% rostered

Mariota is throwing and rushing just enough, without making many mistakes, to maintain fantasy relevancy under center for the Falcons. He gets a Washington team this week that is playing better but is still vulnerable to the opposing QBs.

Tight End

Trey McBride, Cardinals – 13% rostered

Zach Ertz is likely out for the season, so McBride is manning the TE position for the Cardinals for the foreseeable future. The standout TE at this year’s Senior Bowl, McBride is a star waiting to rise in fantasy. He saw a season high in targets(4) last week, so his arrow is up against a Chargers team that is a top 5 matchup for opposing TEs.
