PRO Trashman’s Week 2 Flex Rankings: RB, WR, TE

Often times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.

PLEASE Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 2 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming weekend’s slate cross-positionally.

Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees Week 2’s Sunday and Monday slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit smelly and gross) component. (Based on .5 PPR scoring).

    Is it safe to roll with Odell Beckham this week or should I play Corey Davis or Sammy Watkins instead?

      the fact that he’s playing on monday night makes it hard to wait for him. I feel safer playing either in his stead with sammy ahead of davis.

      Whatever it is, it’s Trash.

      The one sneaky logical thing- I can think of- which I can hardly imagine has ever crossed his stinking mind- Dolphins CB Xavien Howard is a beast. Not sure if it will be a shadow situation, though – as Allen gets moved all around.

      I’m still personally more than happy to take my chances with Allen, esp in PPR.

    May have a possible deal where I give up Freeman, AP and Alshon and receive AJ green, cooks and Joe Mixon. Thoughts?

    RBs would be Mccoy, Gillislee, Tevin coleman, Joe Mixon
    WRs would be Baldwin, Tate, Martavis, AJ and Cooks

    Was thinking I could move a RB and WR to upgrade then at RB possibly?

    Rushing Yards: 8 yards per point; 8 points at 110 yards
    Receiving Yards: 10 yards per point; 8 points at 115 yards

    [2] RB: McCoy, Lynch (Cohen, Riddick, Kamara, Prosise, Carson)
    [3] WR: M. Thomas, K. Allen, Fitzgerald (Z. Jones, Doctson)
    [1] TE: Eifert (Cook)
    [1] W/R: D. Parker
    [1] W/R/T: Garcon
    Bench total: (8)

    This league has a weekly add limit of 4 and players don’t go on waivers until after 1pm on Sundays so all the TNF guys like your beloved D’Onta Foreman is still a FA right now! I’m thinking I should drop Doctson for him buuut I already used 3 of my 4 adds to claim Cohen and Carson and grabbed Cincy’s DEF since I stream .. only problem is that I also stream kickers and my plan was to drop Succup @JAX for Walsh vs. SF or Tavecchio vs. NYJ … so I guess what I wanna know is: do use this last add on Foreman and just disregard any advantage at kicker this week? Or hope to get Foreman next week off waivers (doubtful since I have last priority and it’s slim pickings in FA right now) and try to remain competitive at the kicker position this week? I think I already know the answer but wanna hear it from ya’ll!

    Since John Brown was ruled out the same day the rankings were released, and chance of getting an updated spreadsheet? JJ Nelson and Jaron Brown are available in a lot of leagues, and I’d love to see how you think JB being out affects your rankings of those players.

    You guys are the absolute best! The draft cheat sheet gave me a monster team. I was offered a trade from the DJ owner in desperate need of an RB. He offered me Stephon Diggs or Tyreek Hill for Tarik Cohen.

    12-team, .5 PPR At RB I have Devonta Freeman, Marshawn Lynch, Joe Mixon and Jamaal Charles. My WR: Michael Thomas, Keenan Allen, Martavis Bryant, Corey Coleman, Golladay and Kupp

    I start 2 WR, 2 RB and a flex. What do you think?

      In principle – we like the value for Tyreek Hill. That’s a damn good deal, you almost definitely have to take.

      However, your WR are bit deeper than your RB. One thing you might consider, that would potentially be an even better move- is to potentially make a 2 for 1 trade- where you send him 2 good players (Tarik Cohen one of them) for one of his ultra premium best players.

      The only reason I say this is because- improving your team is always nice- but improving your starting lineup can be even better- and you already have solid depth. Either way, this is a deal you prob have to do. Best wishes.

    Hey guys need some help from the boss dogs. I played Aj green and Hopkins as my WR1 and 2 this week. For a big fat 13 points. Looking for the best upside play out these guys to help bounce back. I have McCaffery as my RB 2 but I have tarik, tevin coleman, k Williams, as potential RB2. I have t hill in my flex hoping for another big game. Think I should just stick with McCaffery?
