PRO Trashman’s Week 3 Flex Rankings: RB, WR, TE

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

    If Pittman is a full go do you still think Christian Kirk and Courtland Sutton are better plays this week?

      Too many good players, you should suggest to your league to expand the active roster slots. That said, it would be hard to bench Pittman, but we won’t talk you out of Kirk. He has been on fire!

    Need RB depth. Would you trade Marquise Brown for Akers? Thought would be a fair trade of Marquise’s upfront production 1H of the season, in exchange for the hope that Akers works into more volume back half of the season.

    10 TM 1PPR start 1QB, 2 RB, 3WR, 1 TE, 1 FLX (0-2 due to unfortunate events)

    The squad:
    QB: Carr
    RB: Kamara, Fournette, D Mont, Dobbins, (B Robinson in IR slot)
    WR: Chase, Keenan, Sutton, London, JuJu, C Samuel, E Moore
    TE: Andrews

    I had Mike Williams and J Rob but traded them to the etienne owner for Sutton after I picked up K Allen from an errant drop. Couple questions:

    1) if Keenan Allen goes Im assuming we start him over drake london barring herbert news? and if so would you rather have london or D mont in the flex?

    2) WW options since I freed up a spot: should I scoop up Kenneth Walker or J Williams? Feel I should be prioritizing a RB to help balance the roster

      ✅ You have it right Kennan Allen over London, but London over D-Mont.

      ✅ Walker is definitely the “sexier pick” but Jamaal Williams has a definite roll, and is a good bet for a TD every week.

    Trade proposal to bolster RB wares, since I think I’m flush with WR.

    May not need a 2-for-1.

    My WRs: Hill, Waddle, G Davis, London, G Wilson, Olave
    My RBs: Taylor, Swift, B Hall, B Robinson (IR)

    His WRs: Chase, Renfrow, S Moore, Lazard
    His RBs: N Harris, D Harris

    Historically not a super active manager, and he’d need to move pieces around. He’s rostering two DEF and two K at the moment.

    Do I even need to offer 2-1? Would Cooks > Patterson be plenty fair?

    Many things annoy me about FF articles.
    1. First of all most of the talking heads who write betting articles for FP or SportsEdge
    give out “overs.” They scour the prop board and pick out 3 or 4 overs.
    Their write ups are elegant fish wrap.
    That sophomoric Jeff Radcliff never loses an over–just listen to him Monday morning.
    If you have any friends who bet for a living–and have no other job–they bet unders.
    Too much can go wrong with an over.

    2. The weekly rankings don’t react to the injury news.
    Way too much group think, not enough independent thought.
    I have no idea what I am talking about, but because of injuries Greg Dortch and Romeo Doubs should be higher.

    I should keep my mouth shut. But I have no one else to talk to about this stuff.

      My gripe is Sirius xm continues to treat rosterwatch like the red headed step child of fantasy.
      Most of the shows on there are so fucking terrible. They need to respect the nation with more air time!
