Often times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.

PLEASE Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 8 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming week’s slate cross-positionally.

Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees Week 8’s Sunday and Monday slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit smelly and gross) component.

  1. Let’s get you a Blake Bortles jersey trashman.

  2. Thanks for all the help. I’m in a 12 tm dynasty keeper, standard scoring.

My rbs are Ingram Ajayi Sims (IR) Knile Davis P Perkins.

Sims is on IR so no roster spot counted. I’m thinking about dropping Perkins to pickup an RB playing this week and next week I can pick him backup.

    Who would you pickup?
    Barber
    Ward
    Prosise
    Ward
    Bibbs
    J Williams
    Thomas Rawls

Looking for potential guy to break out this year and next season. Thanks

    1. Is Rob Kelley available on the wire? He is the guy with the most opportunity to break out this week. Prosise is the guy out of the listed above.

    2. Rawls would be my guy if you’re thinking long term. Bibbs or Williams if you can’t get him.

  3. I was offered a trade I would have to give up QB Palmer and WR Evans for Luck and Marvin Jones? My other WRs are Crabtree, Baldwin, C Patterson, Sanu, Lafell and Crowder. Im in a 10 man Standard League.

    1. Do not give up Mike Evans! Isn’t he your favorite player on your team right now!?

      1. Thanks, didn’t do it.

    2. I probably wouldn’t do it. Evans is becoming even more integral to the Bucs and Jones is losing targets to Tate and Boldin. Your other wrs are too up and down to add another to the fold.

  4. I’ve got a strange yet perhaps dumb question. There’s always the major disclaimer on the Trashman Flex ranking, that “These are not our official RosterWatch Rankings.” However, the official RW rankings don’t offer a Flex Ranking. Why is that?

Perhaps it’s just that you want to highlight the lovably foul Trashman purposefully, but it seems like official RW flex rankings could be useful. Thanks for all that y’all do!

    1. The disclaimer is there because the other guys don’t have input into my flex rankings. The other rankings are a composite. I tend to deal more in those less desirable players that don’t tend to crack the other rankings. As bandwidth increases in the future, that may be something that we can include on a regular basis.

  5. If I can grab Robert Kelley from waivers in the morning, would I be crazy to play him over Crowell as my RB2? Half point PPR league.

    1. You would be crazy not to pickup up Kelley tomorrow morning and see what happens with him Sunday. Now starting him over Crow is the million dollar question… I’m in the exact same conundrum. Right now I’m personally leaning towards Kelley. I like his yards per carry and matchup better than Crow. But I’m going to wait until Saturday night when I’m boozed up, ask the fantasy gods for a sign and take it from there.

This is a nation X-RAY!! We are all brothers in the same war. I’d like to know what way your gut is leaning. What are your thoughts currently? — Crow vs Kelley

      1. Thanks, looks like we are rowing 2 oars in the same boat. Fortunately we are also rowing in the same direction. I’m not feeling Crow’s matchup. The only thing holding me back is we don’t know how, or even if, Washington will use Kelley. I think I’m about 60/40 Kelley over Crow right now……let me know what your boozed up sign tells you PLEASE!

        1. Im expecting Kelley to play the exact same role as a healthy Matt Jones. 1st, 2ndown and goal line work. Believe Jay Gruden said that same thing…

Oh, I missed that. Well, that deals it, if I get him off waivers, he’s in over Crow!

    2. it’s not crazy, but it seems like a bit of a wash to me. Crowell has the tougher matchup, but stands to get whatever goal line carries are available. Kelley has a better matchup, but we don’t know the extent to which he and Thompson will split carries. There’s a larger sample size for Crowell. If you’re not squeamish and need to take the chance, it makes sense in some reality.

      1. How about White vs Kelley vs Crowell? I could go either way here

        1. The fantasy gods answered my call and addressed the Crow vs Kelley question live on the airways. The boys provided a in depth breakdown and decided Kelley is the guy! Go listen on demand if you missed it.

I missed it due to a Halloween party, thanks for letting us know!!!

  6. ZEKE VIRUS
    .5 ppr

I have Julio, Baldwin, Larry Fitz and Kelvin Benjamin. I’m starting Julio, DB and Fitz but my opponent has Cam. Love the matchups for DB and Fitz, however I am wondering if I would be crazy to swap out Dougie Fresh or Fitz for Benjamin to offset any of Cams potential td passes? If so, who do I sit?

    Thanks Deagsdan

    1. I don’t like to play defense in fantasy football. This is an offensive game. It’s about scoring as many points possible. Just try to get your highest scoring lineup in there. I hope your league pays the regular season points champ not the record champ.

The RW experts have Baldwin over Benjamin this week. I think that is based upon his matchup with the lowly saints. But personally i think it is a toss up. And in a toss up I go with the more talented player as opposed to matchup. I personally think Benjamin is more physically talented. The choice is yours sir. Go with you instincts.

  7. Standard league:

For flex: The Crow, Gillislee, Hogan (possible explosion game) or C. Brate?

  8. Standard scoring

    Pick 2:

    Edleman, Montgomery, or Fuller

Leaning Montgomery and fuller right now…

    1. Edelman and Montgomery

  9. PPR need 2-

Fuller, Crowell, Tate and Moncrief (psyched Moncrief is back!)

I like Fuller and Tate but I’m worried about Tate’s match up and the return of Riddick and Ebron. I’d love to go Fuller Moncrief but I think I should probably sit him to see how he looks?

    Ann

    1. Fuller and Tate

  10. rob kelley or ryan mathews for ppr?

    1. Bob Kelley

After looking over RW rankings, the trash man’s stuff, and the matchup tool, am I crazy to sit Melvin Gordon and roll with Forte and DBooker at RB this week?

    1. I don’t think that’s crazy at all – it’s a perfectly fair idea/

  12. Standard league….Alex Smith or Ryan Fitzpatrick? Thanks!

    1. slight lean to Alex Smith, good luck

  13. Montgomery or Ingram. Can’t sort out this Montgomery thing, will Knile Davis and/or Don Jackson adversely affect Ty’s output to the point where Ingram is viable?? Non-ppr.

  14. Considering making a trade and giving away greg olsen and Christine Michael for blount? I have jimmy graham and want to beef up my running backs. I have zeke currently and ty Montgomery and that’s all I have at rb. Thoughts on the trade?
