PRO Trashman’s Week 8 Flex Rankings: RB, WR, TE
Often times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.
This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.
PLEASE Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 8 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming weekend’s slate cross-positionally.
Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees Week 8’s Sunday and Monday slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit smelly and gross) component. (Based on .5 PPR scoring).

Byron…. Love the Tradecast Pod man one of my favorite tools I use everyweek on RW. You always talk about the Players that are even more elite than the Melvin Gordon’s or Devonta Freeman’s. Could you list the running backs you see being more elite than these guys? I’ve accumulated WW Gold all season, my roster is deep and I wanna make a trade to get one of those RB’s that can put me over the top rest of the season.
As always, thank you TM (and of course Byron and Alex, too). When using the Triple M draft cheatsheet, I never worry about bye weeks because even if I have to sacrifice a week to byes . . . I know I’ll still win out in the long run. I’m 6-1 with ‘Ghini, Murray, Henry, and TyMo out this week. Julio, Keenan, and DHop all have tough weeks, but I can still win if they come through along with Wilson. I’m not really counting on points from Smallwood or J. Richard, but maybe one will hit anyway.
At any rate I just wanted to say that I love being part of #RWNation. Thank you for all you do to help me stick my middle finger in my fellow owners’ faces!
12 team standard scoring
Record 5-2
QB: Russell Wilson
RB: Doug Martin, Alvin Kamara, Buck Allen, Thomas Rawls, Austin Eckler
WR: Mike Evans, Micheal Thomas, Doug Baldwin, Keenan Allen, Josh Doctson, Corey Davis
TE: Travis Kelce
1. Given my current roster would Keenan Allen for Jay Ajayi straight up be a good trade for me? Or do we want no part of Ajayi after what we saw last night?
2. Given My Current Roster Would Keenan Allen and Buck Allen for either CJA or Carlos Hyde be a good trade for me? If so which RB would I rather have for the rest of the season?
Thanks Trashman, weekly fantasy fallout is one of my favorite reads on RW. Keep up the good work
Also, I have looked at the flex rankings and the site rankings but I wanna hear it from the Trashman himself. Do I start Keenan Allen or Doug Baldwin in my flex? Standard scoring
What are your thoughts on John Ross, he is available on ww. Drop Martavis or McFadden for him?
You can drop either of them for Ross. Go nuclear!
PPR need 1. McKinnon, White, or Sanu?
1 ppr. Lafell, Fowler, or Goodwin(if he plays)?
I know this is extremely trashy but bye weeks got me stretched thin. I originally had Fowler penciled in seeing as the Broncos are 7 point dogs I feel they will be letting it fly. Trashman has Lafell ranked higher in his flex rankings so it got me thinking. I’m nervous with Lafell that the Bengals may get up big early and then it becomes the Mixon show. I have also been hearing a lot about Goodwin and saw that he has 3 redzone looks in the past 2 games. The eagles/niners game also has the biggest o/u out of these games and I think it might be wise to get a piece of it, but not sure about the injury. Thanks a ton gents!!!!!
Doctson or Hilton? I realize Hilton is the safer play but worse matchup. I need big points this week, is Docton the way to go? My gut says he’s going to break out against Dallas secondary.
I have a hunch that Hilton will have a pretty big game. Everybody is down in him or ignoring him, so it’s the perfect time for a resurgence.
How about flex- Coleman, Washington or Doctson? 1 pt ppr.
Doctson.
Arm Bar Gang
Record 5-2
Flex Option Forte or Smallwood ?
Thanks RW Nation !
I would go Smallwood.
Would you bench one of these WRs for Jim Graham at the flex spot?
Amendola. Ju Ju SS. Tyrell Williams. Thx
Would you cut Martavis Bryant for John Ross? 12 team, standard scoring, dynasty league.
QB: Rodgers, Stafford
RB: Hyde Martin, Freeman, Henry
WR: Cooks, Hill, Jeffery, Doctson, Bryant
TE: Henry, Witten
Yes!
Hey TM need some trade help. I’m 7-0 with high pts in a 14 tm STD scoring non ppr. Looking to upgrade TE position for playoff stretch as I currently stream but it’s slim pickings with a 9 player bench.
My RBs are Gurley, Hunt, Blount, Powell, C Thompson
I offered any of my bottom 3 rbs for Witten and was countered to receive Kelce and Perine for Powell and Thompson.
Is that price too steep for Kelce? That would leave me exposed at RB on wk 10 bye. Should I ask for Murray instead of Perine or accept the offer? Please help! Thanks TM!
The trade improves your starting lineup but perine is useless right now. Might want to get a better throw in. Not sure if Murray is any better.
How do you like Witten moving forward?
Pryor or Dotson for flex
Team Name: Arm Bar Gang
Tyrod or Alex Smith ?!
Thanks RW Nation !
Full PT PPR: I need some serious help. Pick your poison! I love your show! You guys helped me in week three and it was a God send. I am 5-2 playing the #2 guy in the league and I want to leave no doubt that this is MY league!
Core group of WR:
D. Hopkins
T. Hill
C. Hogan

A. Thielen
