PRO Trashman’s Week 9 Flex Rankings: RB, WR, TE

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.

PLEASE Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 9 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming weekend’s slate cross-positionally.

Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees Week 9’s Sunday and Monday slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit smelly and gross) component. (Based on .5 PPR scoring).

  1. I go to use your cheat sheet as I totally respect the Trashman opinion on players (as they usually mirror my own) and with Hopkins at #3 I realize that Rule#2 of the Trashman (lazy streak) is in play. News flash:Watson is out for the year and Hopkins has never hit 250 yards OR 2 td’s in a game in 2 years. Indy is putrid but I think a lot of this sheet was done before Watson was injured and Zeke is active for week 9. I love your music and I love your style bro. Totally written out of fun brotherly love and “brotherly jab”. Appreciate your work on flex plays this year.

    1. I made the initial rankings on Thursday morning, but they weren’t posted until today. i’ll make more changes as more news comes in. hopkins won’t stay there. cheers

Standard Scoring trade my Keenan Allen for AP?

  3. I’m a very successful team, but at this point am I trying to trade for Zeke? Not sure what intel the trashman has, but he is certainly discounted currently due to unknown risk.

    1. If he doesn’t get suspended you can go ahead and write the league check my way.

    2. The one constant I have heard is he is out 6 games. That is the highest possible outcome. If he was out this week he would miss your first round of playoffs if you didn’t have a bye and have a league that is set up good. (week 17 championships is for imbeciles) With Zeke playing week 9 now this changes things. If he serves week 10 he is out first 2 rounds of playoffs. If he serves week 11 he is out for the championship game. If he serves after week 11 he is still out for all of this year include your championship. So only trade for Zeke if its a keeper league and he has a good round (2cd or better is awesome). And if you think you have a squad that can win a championship without Zeke then you roll the dice that he manages to put this to next year.

Thoughts on McKinnon from Minn. would you give away diggs to get mckinnon in a ppr? My other wr are evans, m thomas, allen and kupp. My rb are d martin, lynch, cj anderson, al morris, riddick. Thanks

    1. Yeah if you can get the McKinnon owner to take Diggs for him straight up i would do it in a heartbeat!!

  8. God as a Watson and Fuller owner reading this before adjustments makes my heart hurt.

Standard scoring. Doug Martin and keenan Allen for Fournette?

    1. Are you trading for Fournett? If you are not sure that’s enough to get it done but can’t hurt to start there. If you have Fournett and was offered this depending on how dire your situation is I wouldn’t take it. He has scored 7 td’s to date each game he has played in. I would ask a kings random for Fournett right now!!

  10. WHY isn’t there STANDARD VS. PPR option in the rankings now?

Standard Scoring. With Danny Woodhead coming back in a couple weeks is my Buck Allen for Alfred Morris good trade for me?

Im stuck with bye weeks, Ajayi or Breida in ppr? Ajayi might not even play

  13. Post By Scott Mitchell

12-team 0.5 PPR – Not a lot of bench space, but trying to gear up for playoffs. Do I drop Breida to pick up Dion Lewis? Note that I have Carlos Hyde. Or do I drop DOnta Foreman (I don’t have Miller).

Minor note: I drafted Foreman so I can keep him next year for an 11th rounder.
