Week 10 Garbage Grab

Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 10
It’s hard to believe we’re already in Week 10, but here we are! There’s been much ado during the week, so there are plenty of pivots to make in turn. These are my favorite deep dives…

Wide Receiver
Ty Hilton, Colts
Hilton is back from concussion protocol, and he should step right back into the starting lineup across from Michael Pittman. Hilton actually out-targeted Pittman in his one full game back this season, so he should see considerable targets in a pretty mild matchup with the Jaguars.

Deonte Harris, Saints
Harris is the Saints’ target leader over the last couple of weeks, and while it hasn’t amounted to a high scoring game yet, the looks, combined with Harris’ big play potential are a perfect storm for the cake matchup the Saints have with the Titans’ league worst secondary.

Van Jefferson, Rams
Welp, that’s it for Robert Woods I suppose. Woods tore his ACL yesterday, so that makes Van Jefferson a hot commodity again, even with Odell Beckham on the team. Jefferson was already fantasy worthy before Woods got injured, but he should see even more consistent looks now.

Running Back
Rhamondre Stevenson, Patriots
Stevenson had 62 yards on the ground and 44 through the air last week before suffering a head injury. Damien Harris suffered one as well, but he looks a lot less closer to playing than Stevenson. If Harris can’t suit up, and Stevenson can, Stevenson is in line for major touches against Cleveland this week. If neither can go, JJ Taylor makes for a sneaky play along with Brandon Bolden.

Ty Johnson, Jets
Johnson has had at least 60 yards and a score in back-to-back games for the Jets as a safety valve for whatever beleaguered QB is under center. Buffalo, the Jets’ opponent this week, is particularly difficult to run on, but passing against them hasn’t proved very fruitful either. Johnson is somewhere in the middle as a pass-catcher who can be used in short yardage situations.

Tight End
Tyler Conklin, Vikings
Conklin hasn’t gotten too high, fantasy wise, but he doesn’t get too low either. His PPR floor has been rock solid over the past 3 weeks, netting him double-digit totals. Conklin faces a Chargers team in Week 10 that’s a top-5 matchup for TEs.

Dan Arnold, Jaguars
Arnold has gotten at least 7 targets and 60 yards in 3 of his last 4 games as a Jaguar. He’s got a top 6 matchup with the Colts this week, so he’ll continue to roll.

Quarterback
Teddy Bridgewater, Broncos
Teddy is coming off a dream drubbing of the Cowboys in Week 9, and now that he has his full complement of passing options at his disposal, Bridgewater should have little trouble putting up another 20+ pointer on the Eagles and their middling defense.

Should I flex Tyler Johnson over, Alex Collins or Gibson in a tough matchup?

Am I crazy thinking to start both A Jones and Dillon due to RB woes this week? or would you play Pollard over Dillon? Full PPR thank you.

My team has failed to reach 100 points in 0.5 PPR 3 weeks in a row. Can’t even hit a measly 100 points. Fantasy can really suck sometimes.

    1. i hear you mate…my last three weeks DFS lineups haven’t cracked 100 pts. either.
      beginning to believe i’m hexed.
