*****As a reminder, we always recommend using the Cheat Sheet in conjunction with the Vegas Tool once it is published Saturday evenings as Vegas almost always identifies a few value plays who aren’t necessarily on the sheet, but may provide excellent flexibility cap-wise. Sometimes we will update the sheet through the weekend as information comes in from injury reports, Vegas or elsewhere*****
HOW DOES THE SHEET WORK?
THE GOAL of the sheet is to reduce the number of players for the weekly slate to players expected to generate Positive Surplus Value (fantasy points over salary expected points). The player pool is narrowed down to players who meet a minimum number of trends.
THE TRENDS are a series of pass/fail threshold tests of position-specific stats predictors. Through the use of predictive models, we have analyzed every predictive metric we could for each position related to Vegas Indicators, Unit Matchups, Individual Matchups, Historical Performance, Game Script, Weather, and so much more.
Using a non-linear model, we’ve found BASELINES for each metric. For each baseline TREND TEST, if the player passed, he receives a [+1]. For example, using the Matchup Tool Rankings vs. QBs, the model found that an Opponent Ranking ranked in the bottom (9) teams allow on average +3.7 surplus points to opposing QBs. If the QB’s matchup is ranked worse than the baseline, the QB receives [+1] trend. In addition to positive trends, negative trends are also included. The model found that the top ranked pass defenses vs. QBs allow on average -5.4 surplus points.

Valdes-Scantling (if Allison is OUT) or Doug Baldwin? PPR
How long does Baldwin keep hurting people? With the Allison news I’ll be moving up MVS to above Baldwin. However. Any week now is the Baldwin mid-season breakout. Can’t bank on it tho. MVS with no Allison in a good matchup + elite scoring environment makes me lean MVS.
My roster:
Fournette
Mixon
Lindsey
Richard
Mcquire
Golladay
J Gordon
J Brown
Kirk
Due to both McQuire coming off IR and Richard locked (having played)in this week, I have to drop someone from my roster that isn’t names Jalen Richard. . Could be either RB or WR.
For me it’s between Brown and Kirk. I really don’t want to drop Kirk. What do you think I should do in my half point PPR?
Thanks in adv.
Do not drop Brown. If you have to make a drop it has to be McGuire.
Standard League, 12 team.
I am sort of at a stalemate for my next move in the arms race. I lean towards packaging JuJu and Kerryon for a premium piece who I could roll out in my flex every week. I have probed around on the Rodgers front, but he is asking for Chubb, and Kerryon. So I retreated there. Take a look at my time, if you would and I was wondering if you could help me out with the two guys I should be packaging together for that one premium guy. Or do I hold on to depth for playoffs?
QB: Rivers
RB: Kamara
RB: Chubb
WR:Odell
WR: Davante Adams
TE: Kelce
Flex: JuJu
Bench
Kerryon
Fournette
Ekeler
Penny (gross I know)
Sutton
DJ Moore
OJ Howard
With Sutton’s impending breakout and LF rerunning, my thought is JuJu and Kerryon gets me my next piece…
Hey boys, great show this morning. Looking for a bargain basement value to fill out a great cash lineup. Aldrick Roby filling in for Diggs or Tyler Ervin grabbing some targets in Houston? Thanks
