Deji Karim
WHO IS Deji Karim?

WHO is he?
Jacksonville Jaguars Running Back. 2010 6th round pick out of Southern Illinois.
WHAT you should know: With the news of Jacksonville’s Rashad Jennings’ season ending knee injury, many fantasy football players (mainly MJD owners) are interested in finding who the new #2 Running back in Jacksonville behind Maurice Jones-Drew is. Look no further. Jacksonville Head Coach Jack Del Rio has heaped praise on Deji Karim this preseason, and has indicated that he is not worried about depth at the RB position, even given Jennings’ injury. Seemingly, this sense of security comes from his confidence in the abilities of Deji Karim to spell MJD and contribute meaningfully should their elite franchise RB have to miss any significant time. He is a low 4.4 guy with the “bowling ball” body that reminds you of guys like Ray Rice, Michael Turner, MJD and Darren Sproles. A noted “weight room warrior”, he is an explosive package of muscle with legs like tree trunks and nifty moves. In watching his tape, I am most impressed with his ability to “get small” through the line of scrimmage, then generate an unbelievable burst into the open field with uncharacteristically low pad level and straight-line speed.
If you are a MJD owner who drafted Jennings: get to the waiver wire and pick up Karim.
If you are weak at RB and have space: get to the waiver wire and pick up Karim and hold.
We believe there may be some value to be had here.
HOW he compares:
A more powerful, less elusive Darren Sproles.
