PRO Preseason DFS Week 3 Thursday Main Slate Player Pool Cheat Sheet

Here is a tool to use if you are playing the Week 3 Preseason Thursday Slate on DraftKings and Fanduel. You will see in the shared sheet a tab for each game where certain player options are listed, along with a front page listing core plays. Use your favorite core plays on the first sheet and mix in other plays from the individual game sheets to put together your favorite roster.

Please check the sheet up until lock to see if any changes are made as news comes out very late about playing time and inactives that could open up value or change the outlook for players recommended here.

  1. Keeper question for my auction draft this weekend. Each team (12) gets a $200 budget and 1 keeper. Choosing between Chubb and Mahomes here, at $10 each. Full PPR, no SF. I’ve been in this league long enough to know that whichever one I don’t choose will go for $50+, so I’ll have to live without one of them. Who should I choose?

    1. If it is a 10 teamer go Chubb. If it is a 12 teamer go Chubb. Let some fool pay 50$ for Mahomes while you can nab a top 20 quarterback for 1$. The money you save means you can go 70+ for a top 3 ppr back. The difference between Mahomes and the top 20 quarterbacks will not even be close.

  2. yooo whadddupp its your favorite and long time pro member renourka!

loooking forward to another year of excellence with you guys and still hoping my leaguemates haven’t caught on yet!

anywho, joined a dynasty league for the 1st time and the draft is sunday. assuming the same rules apply while using the cheat sheet? or is there a different strategy when it comes to drafting a dynasty squad with 25 roster spots? (8 starters, 17 bench players) also no DEF or Kickers so it’s 1 QB ( 6pt passing TDs) 2 RB, 2 WR, 2 FLEX, 1 TE

You need to pay attention to player age, rb’s peak (age apex) around 25, wr 25–27, te 26-29 or so… don’t go drafting Ab or Edelman super early. Otherwise, get after it!

        1. what about roster depth? for instance let’s say in rounds 17+ where technically highest guys on cheatsheat might be qbs or tes who would be qb2 & 3’s and te3’s respectively, so take them over rbs or wrs? for a dynasty is there a rule of thumb on drafting backups and how many players to have each position?

Who do I pick as my keeper for 1st round pick in PPR: Julio Jones or James Conner.
    League has: QB,2RB,2WR,TE, Flex, K,Def?

      Its a toss up
what ever position you need more

    2. I agree but might lean Conner if it was my team I was drafting,

RW Pro Member here! 12 team non-PPR dynasty question, we keep 10.

1 pick in 1st round (picking from the 7th hole), 2 picks in 2nd round, 1 pick in 3rd, and 1 pick in 5th round.

Thinking of grabbing players in good systems like Darwin Thompson and Alexander Mattison who are behind guys who are injury-prone/unproven guys, and an upside WR with my first 3 picks. Also thinking of taking my Defense and kicker with my 3rd and 5th round picks.

    Smart moves?

if this is a full dynasty ( keeping 15 plus players ) grabbing mattison and Darwin isn’t a bad idea, but don’t pass up on the Parris, Deebo, JJAW, and all of the tier 2 rookie WRS

League 1 Lockett because of the value but would also be ok with Woods in 6 which is good value also.
League 2, no silver bullets here but I would go with White and Henry.

I have to drop two players to make room for a defense and a kicker. Who would you say I can afford to drop?

    Thanks

    Taylor

    1. Post By The Flex Network

Drop McCoy and Ben. In a 10 team league with. Single qb spot, you don’t need to hang on to 2 qb’s.
      Love the team!

  7. Question for a new super flex league

    10 teams
    half point ppr

My question is how many bench spots should we have? we had 7 before and its setup with 7 but I’m wondering if we should do 8?

Also- Should we do a flex along with the super flex?

    Thanks!!

    1. Post By The Flex Network

I personally like 6-7 bench spots. Deeper benches generally favour the stronger players but I also like FA activity in a league. Shorter benches could also promote for trading. So I would stick with your 7.

If you are doing a superflex, I would still have a normal flex spot. My favourite setup is
Qb, 2 rb, 3 WR, Te, Flex, superflex… if you want to really mix it up, add even another flex spot. Or, also consider making it a Te premium. Since is it .5ppr, could make it full point for Te. Makes some of the Lower tier guys like Hooper have a little more value.

anyways, anyone posting draft results using the mystical, magical, maniacal pieces of paper known as the Cheat Sheet?

would like to see some actual ‘live’ teams as my mocks on Yahoo! have been just a bit above average…nothing mythic or epic though.

    1. Post By The Flex Network

Yahoo isn’t great for mock in my opinion. Yes it’s real people but also an environment where people try things out. And then for the empty draft slots, kickers and D start going in like round 8. I find the softwares are a lot more indicative of actual results.
Give the sleeper app a try or even the fantasy pros app.
I would post my drafts but only done auctions so far this year. But you know I use the cheat sheet as my guide!!

      1. thanks…started playing around with the fantasy pros one…will see how they run by comparison.

We eat mock draft grades for breakfast lunch and dinner – in fact we used to think a good draft grade from Yahoo was a bad omen. Remember- RWNation zigs when others zag………not a great sign when all the donkeys like your team—
