RosterWatch Computer Love: Week 14

RosterWatch Computer Love: Week 14
Byron Lambert, Rosterwatch.com
Computer Love

After a Thanksgiving full of confusion and identity crisis for the RosterWatch Computer, the robot genius has told us- a season of love, the strongest human emotion possible- has drained his batteries.

This week, he has abandoned love and embraced friendship. Fortunately, for us simple beings, the Computer was still willing to share some players he likes for Week 14.

Andre Brown, RB New York Giants
The Computer tells us that Andre Brown is the closest man he is to loving this week. However, he says choosing weekly love is a relative proposition. Brown has been so good lately, it’s hard for anyone to claim his rights. The Robot Genius says you should virtually love him this week.

Torrey Smith, WR Baltimore Ravens
Smith is a plus performer in all of the Computer’s robot measures of fantasy wide receivers. He get’s a great matchup on the season at home against the Vikings this week. The Computer says to chalk him up for double digit points in Week 14.

Victor Cruz, WR New York Giants
It’s been a disappointing season for Victor Cruz owners. If there is a glimmer of hope for Cruz owners, that somehow snuck into the fantasy playoffs, it’s that the Computer predicts nice weeks from both Cruz and teammate Reuben Randle.

Rod Streater, WR Oakland Raiders
His median fantasy scoring with Matt McGloing squirting the gun is 9.3 points. Every time we turn on the Jets game we see Rex Ryan yelling at rookie cornerback Dee Milliner. The Computer has Streater locked in as a solid WR2 in Week 14.

DeMarco Murray, RB Dallas Cowboys
The Thanksgiving throbber has had time to subside, and recuperate. The Computer’s Week 14 outputs show that Murray is set to unleash another drumstick on the Chicago Bears this week.

Eddie Lacy, RB Green Bay Packers

Our favorite rookie running back in the 2013 NFL Draft by a mile, Eddie Lacy is having a monster rookie season in Green Bay. He’s a guy we look forward to trying to own again next year. It was a lackluster Week 13 for the rookie stud, but the Computer fully predicts him to return to RB1 status at home against the Falcons this week. His owners should be set to advance to the second round of the fantasy playoffs.

  1. Love the show on Sirius, and I look forward to reading this column every week, the computer hs been spot on! I hope it leads me to victory again this week. Great work guys, keep it up!

    1. any “computer love” for Michael Floyd or Riley Cooper this week? I need to start one.

  2. I’m relatively new to the website but I’ve listened on Sirius for a long time. You guys definitely know your stuff and provide a different perspective on things.

  3. Thanks to all for the nice comments. We wish you the best of luck this weekend.

  4. If DeMarco has a bad night tonight, I’d rather look at the famed Microsoft “blue screen of death” than take this Computer’s advice next week. Two out of five so far, for a prediction rate of 40%, gets a team summarily removed from the playoffs.

lucky for the computer, Murray should have a monster night tonight. But, then again, a trained monkey can predict such a result for a quality RB against a terrible run defense…

  5. natascot – thx for being part of the RW community

In the body of the article, this week, the Computer says he didn’t love anybody. There were only some guys he liked. This was the group.

He’s a robot genius! Check the players he’s loved in any of the previous articles. Here’s the link to last weeks where we were too embarrassed to admit he also loved Benjarvus —>

  6. LOL! Okay, okay… the computer is forgiven. 🙂

  7. Ok Thanks! Plus- what super-computer could have possibly predict that everyone on the Ravens offense catches a TD BUT Torrey Smith and that Peyton Hillis would get a completely random goal line swindle on the NYG goal line back in Brown!
