*****As a reminder, we always recommend using the Cheat Sheet in conjunction with the Vegas Tool once it is published Saturday evenings as Vegas almost always identifies a few value plays who aren’t necessarily on the sheet, but may provide excellent flexibility cap-wise. Sometimes we will update the sheet through the weekend as information comes in from injury reports, Vegas or elsewhere*****

HOW DOES THE SHEET WORK?

THE GOAL of the sheet is to reduce the number of players for the weekly slate to players expected to generate Positive Surplus Value (fantasy points over salary expected points). The player pool is narrowed down to players who meet a minimum number of trends.

THE TRENDS are a series of pass/fail threshold tests of position-specific stats predictors. Through the use of predictive models, we have analyzed every predictive metric we could for each position related to Vegas Indicators, Unit Matchups, Individual Matchups, Historical Performance, Game Script, Weather, and so much more.

      Tough call- I like Wentz more right now- but I can understand you wanting to play that LV / KC matchup. I’m thinking probably Carr – look at their recent production, the matchup rating, and projected game total

    Standard league, if Godwin can’t go…trash time. Do I go Chuba, Mckissic, Gallup or drop one of those three and get R Stevenson, B Bolden, E Benjamin or T Y Hilton off waivers? Awful week I have Mixon on bye Kamara scratched and now possibly Godwin 🙁

      Think I go McKissic in PPR but in standard I might go with Bolden. I don’t think Stevenson and Harrus are playing.

      not sure JJ or DH are going to play so assuming that, it comes down to Gibson vs. Devonta for me and would probably go Gibson in STD and Devonta in PPR

    Is there a true handcuff for Najee Harris? Also, is Rhamondre Stevenson worth picking up to handcuff Damien Harris?

    My other RBs are Christian McCaffrey, Darrell Henderson, Chubba Hubbard, Sony Michel

      I don’t think he has a true handcuff, it would devolve to a dustball committee if anything were to happen. Byron is warming up to Rhamondre so if you like to handcuff (which it’s clear you do based on your RBs haha) then I wouldn’t fault you for it. I personally don’t see much potential in Rhamondre unless a lot of other guys are hurt.
