Trashman’s Fantasy Fallout Going Into Week 4

Trashman’s Fantasy Fallout Going Into Week 4

Week three is almost at an end, and we already have a record 161 TDs through the first three games of an NFL season. Hopefully most of them have been connected to your players. If not, that’s ok too. It’s not too late to make the necessary moves to right the ship. I’ve turned 0-4 starts to championships, so there’s hope… You just have to get a little trashy. Here’s the fallout…

Jets – 17 @ Browns – 21

  • Sam Darnold‘s inexperience is starting to show. He’s played like a rookie for 2 straight games, and the Jets have all but eliminated down field throws from the game plan, which doesn’t bode well for receivers not named Enunwa. They face the Jags in week 4. That one could get messy.

  • Bilal Powell(14 tou, 73 yards) is running better than Isaiah Crowell(17 tou, 51 yards, 2 TD), but Crowell is staying in at the goal line. Expect both to get plenty of run against the Jags this week. It’s unlikely the Jets test them through the air.

  • The Baker Mayfield era is underway. The first pick of the draft took over for the concussed Tyrod Taylor to give Cleveland their first win in over two years, and the Browns may never look back after he made decisive throws(17 of 23, 201 yards) and electrified the Browns offense. He didn’t have any TDs, but there was a noticeable positive difference from when Taylor was helming the offense. Mayfield will start in Week 4 against the Raiders whether Taylor is cleared or not.

  • Hold on to our man Antonio Callaway. He only had 4 catches for 20 yards, but he had 10 targets, and just missed on several deep passes.

Saints – 43 @ Falcons – 37

  • I told you to make sure you picked up Calvin Ridley last week, and his 7 rec, 146 yard, 3 TD performance this week is why. Hopefully you used him, but it’s ok if you didn’t. He’s going to be a major contributor in the Falcon’s offense from here on out.

  • Ito Smith is starting to blip the radar a bit after coming up 3rd in receptions for the Falcons(3 for 41 yards) after Ridley and Jones. Should Freeman miss Week 4, Smith might be worth a deep league flex against the Bengals who have been giving it up to pass catching backs.

Broncos – 14 @ Ravens – 27

  • Royce Freeman had a nice game(14 tou, 58 yards, 1 TD), but that was without Phillip Lindsay in the game for the most part. Lindsay was ejected for throwing punches before doing much against the Ravens. He’ll be back in Week 4, and Royce will return to being a flex start at best.

  • Case Keenum hasn’t thrown a TD in 2 games now. If he can’t get things going against K.C. in Week 4, everyone else has, you might need to consider finding another option at QB.

  • Alex Collins(21 car, 74 yards, 1 TD) is the Ravens’ best back and looked like it on Sunday. Unfortunately for him, Buck Allen is doing enough to stay on the field(9 tou, 26 yards, 2 TDs). That being said, I do think Collins is a good trade target. People aren’t high on him, and I think his best football is ahead of him this season.

  • John Brown led the Ravens in receiving again(5 rec, 86 yards), and he’s still avilable in too many leagues. Make sure he isn’t available in yours.

Bengals – 21 @ Panthers – 31

  • I said good things were coming for Tyler Boyd, but even I was surprised by his 6 rec, 132 yard, 1 TD monster on Sunday. Some of that action has to be attributed to A.J. Green injuring his groin at the beginning of the 2nd half, but I’ll take it. Green should be ok for Week 4, but groin injuries tend to linger, and Boyd should be in your lineups in what should be a high scoring game with Atlanta.

  • It’s uncertain, but Joe Mixon could possibly return as early as Week 4. Might be a good time to see if Gio Bernard has any weight on the trade market after a solid 86 yard, 1 TD Week 3.

Giants – 27 @ Texans – 22

  • TE Evan Engram left early in the game with a knee injury. He seems to have escaped anything serious, but we’ll need to watch his practices during the week. Sterling Shepard was the immediate beneficiary(6 rec, 80, 1 TD), and TE Rhett Ellison could pick up some targets if Engram can’t go in Week 4.

  • Deshaun Watson isn’t making it pretty(385 yards passing, 38 yards rushing, 2 TD, 1 INT), but he’s producing. His o-line isn’t any help, but he’s got good receiving options and should maintain top 5 QB upside in most matchups. He should have a fairly easy time against Indy in Week 4.

Titans – 9 @ Jaguars – 6

  • Marcus Mariota looked like he was throwing a wiffle ball on Sunday, upon entering that game after Blaine Gabbert was concussed, but he somehow managed to lead his team to victory – it had a lot to do with his feet. He’ll probably start against Philly in Week 4, where the only Titans I’ll even consider starting are Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis.

  • It was a tale of two Jaguars offenses between Week 2 and Week 3, as Jacksonville put up less than 250 yards of offense and no TDs after hanging 480 yards and 4 TDs on the Pats. After watching the Pats on Sunday night, that all makes sense, but the Titans were one of the best matchups for opposing receivers coming into Week 3. Jacksonville gets the Jets in Week 4 so it’s an opportunity to right the ship.

  • Fournette was close to playing in Week 3 it seems, so it’s likely we’ll see him in Week 4, which is good news for all Jaguars offensive players. I’d hold onto Yeldon though. Fournette is developing a reputation as a being injury prone…

49ers – 27 @ Chiefs – 38

  • Here in Austin, ACL has a much more positive connotation than it must in San Fran right now. After losing Jerick McKinnon to an ACL tear, it looks like Jimmy G has suffered the same fate. C.J. Beathard is the next QB up, and he had 3 TDs and 5 INTs in 5 starts last year. I’d like to be optimistic, but Nate Peterman actually looked BETTER than Beathard at the Senior Bowl last year. Maybe he’s improved, but this looks like a major downgrade for all 49ers offensive players.

  • Matt Breida walked off an apparent injury earlier in the game to come back and put up 117 yards on the day. I expect to see heavy doses of him and Alfred Morris from here on out, so hold tight.

  • Marquise Goodwin didn’t have any setbacks with his quad in Week 3, which is great, except for the fact that Garoppolo is out indefinitely. He had some decent games with Beathard last season, but whereas before he would be a borderline WR1, he’s now relegated to WR3 territory.

  • I said before that I love Patrick Mahomes and the new look KC offense, but that it would hurt Kareem Hunt‘s stock… I still stand by it for the most part. Yes, he had 2 TDs, but he only had 44 yards on the day.

Raiders – 20 @ Dolphins – 28

  • I said we’d have to wait till Week 3 to see who the real Amari Cooper was after a bust game and then a boom game, and I guess we got it(2 rec, 17 yards). Just as consistently inconsistent as ever, Cooper will probably put up 100+ yards and a TD this week, but will he be in your lineups? There are so many options right now with all the scoring going on on in the NFL currently, so don’t feel guilty about diverting from the course. Maybe you trade him and make him someone else’s problem. Fortunately I don’t own him in any leagues, so I don’t have that dilemma.

  • Jordy Nelson saved all his yardage this season until Week 3(6 rec, 173 yards, 1 TD). I guess somebody had to since Cooper wouldn’t. He’ll be a hot pickup this week, I’m assuming he’s been dropped in quite a few leagues. If you’ve been holding onto him, I suppose you’re wondering if you should trade him high. Well, he hadn’t topped 30 yards up to this point, and he very well might revert back to that type of output in Week 4. I don’t trust this offense as far as Andrew Luck can throw it, and I don’t care to have any part in it. I’m trying to trade Nelson if I can.

  • RB Jalen RIchard reared his head again in this one(6 rec, 59 yards). He’s almost had a more productive season than Cooper at this point. He’s worth a look in deep PPR formats.

  • Neither Kenyan Drake nor Frank Gore had fantasy days you want to remember, but it was interesting that Gore got the “start”. Drake ended up out-touching him 7 to 6, but there is no leader in this backfield.

  • The Dolphins need to get WR Jakeem Grant more involved(2 rec, 70 yards, 2 TD). He’s got Tyreek Hill playmaking ability. Keep him on your radar. I have a feeling Miami is going to find a way to get him the ball more consistently, especially since they have the Pats coming up, and they’ll need all the help they can get.

Bills – 27 @ Vikings – 6

  • It wouldn’t be the NFL if there wasn’t an inexplicable outcome thrown in the mix, and that was this game. The Bills are better at defending the pass than the run, and they got ahead early to where the Vikings abandoned the run – they had only 6 rushing attempts on the day.

  • The fact that Chris Ivory managed 126 yards of offense against Minnesota is encouraging, should LeSean McCoy miss more time. No one else on the team is worth consideration in Week 4.

  • Well if you had any question as to who Kirk Cousins favors out of Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, well it’s Thielen, resoundingly. Thielen had 19 targets to Diggs’ 10. I guess Diggs is viewed more as a deep threat, and Cousins couldn’t seem to see more than a few yards in front of him at any given time yesterday.

  • Dalvin Cook was almost ready for Week 3, or so he said. We’re now hearing he’s got a “good chance” of playing which is more ambiguous than the previous outlook for Week 4. It’s a Thursday night game, so that doesn’t help. Keep Latavius Murray at hand…

Colts – 16 @ Eagles – 20

  • It’s very telling that Andrew Luck was replaced by Jacoby Brissett when the Colts needed a hail mary at the end of the game. His yardage and yards per attempt has decreased each week of the season thus far – I don’t want to know how low he can go. I’m moving him where I can.

  • Nyheim Hines is getting more looks. Only 43 yards on the day but 5 receptions. He’s slowly becoming more of a facet of the Colts offense, now that Luck’s got a short arm.

  • So much for Eric Ebron(5 rec, 33 yards) capitalizing on Jack Doyle‘s absence. In his defense though, a lot of the 11 targets he received on the day were uncatchable. I still think he’s worth a shot this week if Doyle misses again.

  • It wasn’t the most ideal game for Carson Wentz to return, as several of his key weapons were out, but he looked decent enough against a pressing Colts front in the rain(255 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT). I’d rather have him than Luck right now, I tell you that.

  • Alshon Jeffery was close in this one, which makes me think he’ll be on the positive side of questionable this week.

  • I want to read more into Jordan Matthews‘ 2 rec for 21 yards line, but Nelson Agholor only had 2 more yards on the day. I want to see what he does on a day the offense is clicking before I draw any conclusions about his addition to the team.

Packers – 17 @ Redskins – 31

  • The Packers got down 14 – 0 in the first quarter, so Jamaal Williams became an afterthought. It didn’t help that Aaron Jones was pretty effective in his return to action (7 tou, 47 yards). Ty Montgomery was more effective than either of them though(10 tou, 64 yards). This backfield looks like it’s going to be gameflow dependent, and each back is going to be involved. It’s a headache, but Jones needs to be added if you need the RB help.

  • It’s been 3 weeks, and Geronimo Allison leads the Packers in receiving. Maybe y’all will listen to me now when I say PICK HIM UP ALREADY!!!

  • Adrian Peterson bounced back nicely(19 tou, 120 yards, 2 TD) after laying down for 20 yards in Week 2. His usage seems game flow dependent, but his upside is enough to keep him in lineups on the weekly.

  • I had hopes Josh Doctson would show up against the Pack, but maybe that was asking too much. I’ve always thought he was overrated. No reason to think any different now. You can drop him.

Chargers – 23 @ Rams – 35

  • True to form, All 3 Rams starting WRs got theirs on Sunday. The Rams have a more aggressive offense than anyone in the league, they actually throw more than KC, so there’s always fantasy production to go around.

Bears – 16 @ Cardinals 14

  • I said it before, and I’ll say it again, Mitch Trubisky is a game manager. Whatever high expectations you had for the Bears offense coming into the season, cut those in half.

  • For a minute there, it looked like Anthony Miller might have broken his arm, but it was actually a dislocated shoulder. I don’t know if the injury will keep him out of week 4, but with the lackluster Bears offense it doesn’t even matter, which is a shameful waste.

  • Sam Bradford is an embarrassment of riches in the most literal sense. He needs to retire and go swim in his money like Scrooge McDuck. At least he topped 100 yards this week, and then managed to turn the ball over 3 times to make up for it. Josh Rosen came in with less than 5 minutes left and threw an INT after moving the ball down the field a bit. It was a ho hum entrance to the NFL, but he’s can’t be much if any worse than Bradford. I would expect him to start in Week 4

  • Christian Kirk showed some signs of live with a 7 rec, 90 yard line on Sunday. He was Rosen’s favorite target, which is a good sign of things to come.

Cowboys – 13 @ Seahawks – 24

  • Dez Bryant has to be enjoying this. The Cowboys offense is hanging on by the thread that is Ezekiel Elliott, and everyone else is hot garbage. Not one other offensive player, other than Tavon Austin as a dart throw in tourneys, is worth owning or talking about.

  • Chris Carson(34 tou, 124 yards, 1 TD) put all that Rashaad Penny talk to rest, for at least another week. Penny mishandled a handoff early, and was sent to the doghouse. Carson may have been dropped in quite a few leagues since Week 2, so it wouldn’t hurt to see if he’s available. He’ll have a decent matchup with Arizona in Week 4.

Patriots – 10 @ Lions – 26

  • Rex Burkhead injured his neck late in the game, but it didn’t affect his output on Sunday night( 2 tou, 26 yards). Sony Michel(15 tou, 49 yards) is the de facto lead back in New England. He needs to be owned in all formats, based on his usage.

  • If you were hoping for Chris Hogan(3 rec, 31 yards) to put on a good showing on Sunday, so you could ship him before Josh Gordon becomes a factor, my condolences. The Pats passing game was in shambles. The Patriots don’t look like the best team in their division, much less the AFC.

  • Kerryon Johnson(18 tou, 110 yards) is the first Lions back to top 100 yards rushing since 2013. We were looking for a performance that would move him ahead of the other Lions backs, and we got it. Johnson’s available in at least 25% percent of leagues, so 1 out 4 of you has some work to do.

  • LeGarrette Blount had the same number of carries(16) as Johnson, but much of that came in clock-killing mode.

  • Kenny Golladay is starting over Golden Tate in 2-wide sets, so there’s no good reason why Tate is 98% owned while Golladay is at 79%.

Getting more worried about my QB (Luck), better to hold on, drop Luck for Dalton (best FA available), drop a position player for Dalton (would be Michel or Lindsay), or try to trade for Matt Ryan (maybe Jones Jr and Lindsay) or Jared Goff (Jones Jr or Lindsay)? Help!

    1. If you want to pick up a new QB, just drop Luck and do it. Don’t get caught up in holding on to the guy you drafted. I wouldn’t drop him for Dalton tho, I will need to make next week’s matchup tool to know who I would target but you should have plenty of options. DO NOT drop Lindsay or Michel for another QB that is cockamamie.

      1. Post By rbrusuelas@consolidated.net

Thanks Alex, I will hold off until you publish the matchup tool (Tuesday)? As a preview, Dalton at ATL, Keenum vs KC, Manning vs NO, Bortles vs NYJ, Tannehill at NE, and Mayfield at OAK. Grapes owner may try to grab a QB (he also has Brees, but guuys in this league roster two QBs, I normally don’t). Thanks!!

      2. Post By rbrusuelas@consolidated.net

Alex, forgot to add, I am really strong at RB: Barkley, Gordon, Conner, Mixon, Lindsay, and Michel. So losing one of the RBs won’t be a big deal.

  2. Alex/Byron

Should I really try to trade Kamara for 2 high end players? I do have Ingram on the bench as well

    1. I don’t think you should do that, I love Kamara. If it’s a 2-for-1 you are definitely trading away the best player.

  3. Do you think Latavius is a start this week if I’ve got Gurley, AP, A Collins, and Mixon at RB? And would you drop J Gordon to go snag C Ridley off waivers? Standard league. Thanks for the great content.

    1. Absolutely not. Don’t drop GORDON DROP LATAVIUS for Ridley. He’s back to worthless outside of handcuff use when Dalvin comes back, which will be Thursday at the Rams.

  4. Thanks Trashman!

  5. Thanks to you guys I have both Antonio Callaway and Kerryon Johnson on my bench. They will supplant bumbling Rex Butthead and Nelson Agholor next week.

  6. Chris Liss said it on SXM 87 last week and it resonated with me. It’s hard to see a trend before the sample size is big enough.

  7. would you trade hopkins for D. johnson

    i have hilton,diggs,j. eldeman,fuller and K.Allen

    RB. Mixon,k. johnson, bernard

    PPR
Only have to play one RB .. 3 FLEX SPOT.

    1. It’s actually pretty close. Rosen being in there is going to help DJ. It’s probably fair. You guys are both selling low. I can’t recommend buying DJ right now because it is your team and your choice to take that risk, but with that said, I also wouldn’t tell you not to like I’ve told other people in this comments section to not do horrible trades and/or drops. It’s fair enough, but it’s a big-time deal and you need to understand the risk involved in buying DJ right now. Watson could revert back to bananas-mode at any time and you’d feel like shit for trading away Dhop if the Rosen show looks as bad as the Bradford show did.

I have a trade offer for Dalvin Cook and A.Cooper for OBJ and M. Crabtree. Standard 12 Team lg. should i bite?
    My other RB n WR our Zeke, J.Mixon, C. Carson, K. Johnson. and E.Sanders, S.Watkins, J.Gordon, R.Cobb

    thanks for advice guys

    1. i wouldn’t. cooper too volatile

  9. Need 4.5 points out of JuJu tonight in a .5ppr…fingers crossed.

What are our thoughts on dealing Mahomes while the iron is hot? Maybe trading him to the Brady owner and get a RB? I drafted Bell and McKinnon so I’m always looking for help.

    Thanks guys

    1. he’s on record breaking pace. i’d ride it out

  10. Alex/Byron

Guy offered me Allen Robinson and Carson Wentz for AJ Green. I just lost Garoppolo at QB

  11. .5 ppr

What do you think about offering up AP and Sammy Watkins and trying to get David Johnson?

  12. I’ve got 49’ers Goodwin and Kittle. Someone dropped Njoku last week and wonder if I should try replacing Kittle with him. I don’t like having multiple QB/TE/DST and too many good rookie WRs to grab. I know the changes in starting QB for both teams makes this seem like a no-brainer but also know Kittle and Beathard played together at Iowa. Thoughts?

John Brown, Ridley, Boyd, Callaway, MWilliams and Stills are all available. With SF QB situation, drop or hold Goodwin another 1-2 weeks?

Dropped CCarson last week to get LMurray; time to drop Latavius or Ekeler for Carson or JWhite?

    1. And forgot to mention Geronimo is also available.

    2. bad qbs rely on their tes as safety blankets so i’m not so worrid about kittle. and he had good days with goodwin last season. and yes, carson offers more longterm value.

  13. Jimmy G owner 4 points per pass TD
    Here’s who is left:
Tannahil, Dalton, Mayfield, Flacco, Trubisky, Winston, Marriota Carr, Darnold JAllan

I will drop Garropolo I own 2 Def LAC and Cleveland (I can drop 1 of those)

Who should I pick up? Should I grab 2 for now?

Thank you! – Your advice has me 3-0 and highest point total thus far

    1. i’d grab tannehill and mayfield

  14. please order 2-3 in case someone ahead of me picks one up

Also, should I use my waiver claim to get one of these guys, or just wait until Wed AM and pick up as free agent?

  15. PPR Lots of great WR on waiver
Set at RB: Kamara, GordonIII, JamesConnor, Mixon, Chris Johnson, Ekeler (can play 3)

My WR core: THill, JuJu Smith Schuster, NAgholor, MarvJones, Enunwa
    I could use a WR upgrade/ upside

Available on waiver: Ridley, MikeWilliams, Callaway, SShepard, GAllison, JRoss, TBoyd, JMatthews, Jakeen Grant

Swap out Enunwa or Agholor (or Ekeler) for any of these?

    1. wow, could probably drop ekeler for ridley or allison

  16. Traded Jordy Nelson for Alshon Jeffrey, had to give up a 2nd round pick also but needed to shore up my flex spot..

  17. Duke Johnson dropped in my PPR league. I can drop Clement for him. Think Mayfield makes him relevant again?

    Thanks

    1. possibly, clement is going to be just as usage based. i think dj offers more ppr upside

  18. Post By paulbwaiter@gmail.com

Can I drop Lindsay for the likes of buck Allen, Allison, Ridley, or Godwin?

    1. yes to all but allen, if you need the wr help

  19. Thoughts or suggestions on paring a WR and RB for Gronk? WR are TY, JuJu, Emmanuel, and Kupp. RB are Fournette, Bredia, Dion Lewis, K Johnson, Penny, and A Jones. I’ve been rolling with ASJ at TE and think I’m over that. McDonald is on the wire and who I drafted.

He has Rudolph at TE. Hunt and Alred Blue are his only RBs on the roster.

    1. Would prob just pick up Vance or make a smaller deal for Rudolph

      1. Thanks. Hopefully I’ll get McDonald back through waivers.

All credit to you guys on the formation of the rock solid receiver corps. I take back all my questioning of JuJu’s slot on the draft cheat sheet.

  20. Have to drop one for a bye week QB…Callaway or Godwin?

    1. Jeeez, flip a coin. Probably Godwin based on target share. You should be attempting to trade those guys to open a roster spot, before outright dropping them

      1. You guys are loading my roster with non drop talent. It’s a good problem to have. I’ll try to work a 2 for 1.

  21. Drop Cobb or Evan Engram for Ridley or Mike Williams?

    1. Prob Cobb for Ridley- closer call on MW

  22. Is it time to cut ties with D. Baldwin?
Looking to drop either Baldwin, D. Thomas, or M. Goodwin for T.Boyd or Ridley this week?

  23. David Johnson for Odell and Kerryon Johnson?

    1. As a frustrated DJ owner, I’d take that in a heartbeat.

      1. I agree. Boost your WR and get a productive RB! Pumped to see Kerryon getting work done!

  24. Damn probably my worst start ever as a member of Rosterwatch Nation! I lost in all three 3 leagues this week so now I’m 1-2, 1-2, and in my standard league below I’m now 0-3… this team below is averaging 90 points a week but I can’t seem to catch a break. Sit tight or would you advise me to make some big trade moves?

    12 team Standard

    [1] QB: Stafford
[2] RB: David Johnson, Collins (Mixon*, K. Johnson, Ekeler)
[2] WR: JuJu, Kupp (Gordon, Baldwin*, Callaway, A. Miller)
    [1] TE: ASJ
    [1] W/R/T: Watkins
    DEF: Bears
    Bench total: (7)

Patiently waiting for the WWCS so I can decide who I’m dropping guys like ASJ or Miller for? Anyone else you’d cut bait with?

QB wise, stick wit Stafford or drop him for Goff, Smith, Dalton, Mayfield?

  25. Much love as always brothers!

I’m 3-0 in one league and thinking about making a move to trade for Kelce and lock this thing down! (Or just stay put and ride with these boys haha)

I’ve got: Gurley, J Conner, Keenan Allen, AJ Green, Jimmy Graham, Emmanuel Sanders, Beast Mode, Marvin Jones, Kerryon Johnson, Jordy, Crowell, and ASJ.

The Kelce owner is going to have a tough RB week with AP and Chris Thompson on bye, Le’v Bell out, and Devonta Freeman questionable. His top WRs are TY, Demaryius Thomas, Robert Woods and Crabtree.

    Thanks again as always!

With such a deep bench, and no trading allowed, I’m trying to figure out some sleeper RBs. If JConnor (Pitt) goes down is it wiser to have Ridley or Samuel? Is the #2 guy in LA Rams worth a stash? Alf Blue? Any thoughts? Deep bench, even ito Smith is rostered. thanks for the help!!!!

  28. Garoppolo owner here. Also have Alex Smith (on bye). PPR league and been offered Big Ben and James White for David Johnson and Bears D. I also have Titans D and RB’s McCaffery(bye), A Collins, & Ingram(sspd). If no trade probably pick up Dalton for QB this week. Thoughts??

  29. I have 2 defenses from a stream from last week
Should I keep LAC. Or Cleveland

I have a flex question, 1 pt ppr, .25 pt per carry:

    Royce Freeman
    Alex Collins
    Antonio Callaway
    Alfred Morris
    Christian Kirk

    Thanks!

  31. Traded DJ straight up for Tyfreak. Dropped Hogan this week. Streaming defenses in most leagues like normal. Streaming qbs in most too which is normal. For those who have Kittle in their pools…pick him up! Beathard threw a td pass to him first thing which was called back. And they had a great connection last year. Don’t forget they were college roomates at Iowa. Any team that plays Buffalo interests me still on defense. Green Bay get their shot and they won’t overlook them as a team. Buffalo defense hasn’t allowed a touchdown in 6 quarters…their head coach took over play calling to start that streak…He’s done wonders with Carolina secondary and Buffalo secondary in previous years. LAC defense will be worth owning once Lioget and Bosa get back on the D line.

  32. Would Kenan Allen and Josh Gordon be too much for AB? start 2 wr and flex. Currently I have manny sanders and Hogan along w Allen and Gordon.

  33. Hey guys-

    I have s. Barkley, s. Michel, a. Jones, m. Ingram.

    2rb, 2wr,arbitrary/wr flex

12 team league. I am thin at WR with m. Thomas, a. Thielen, and then only r. Cobb.
Nobody is on the waiver wire WR wise and i’m not kidding.

Should I try and trade one of those yet to produce rb’s for a WR, or do you think i’ll be solid in a few weeks and get to shift to starting one of those RB’s in my flex.

And if I did try and flip one of those guys who would you get rid of first? And do I go for someone like Ridley or Boyd caliber/potential?

    Thank you. RADIO GOLD!

    1. 2rb /2wr / 1wr/rb flex is what we start.

  34. Should I drop Doug Baldwin and try to pick up either Ridley, Boyd, or Callaway. Allison (GB) is not available. My other receivers are Cobb, Stills, and Funchess. Also I have Winston on my bench w/Rodgers as my starter. Should I release Winston and pick up Mayfield, Allen, Prescott, Trubisky, or Rosen. Rodgers bye week is wk. 7, Winston’s is wk. 5.

  35. Im in a 10 team standard league. We don’t allow any waiver wire adds until we do a 3 round supplemental draft this week. I have the 4th pick. I am not sure if I should drop any of my WR and pick up someone that is available.

    My WR: WR available:
    AJ Green Enunwa

    What’s up fellas!
    12 Team standard:
My leaguemate wants Tom Brady from me. I told him I want Christian McCaffrey, but he wants me to throw in another player to make the deal.

Question: is McCaffrey the player I should be going after, and what other player do I throw into the deal without giving up the stud? I’m thinking Lewis and/or Thompson.

    My team:
    Qb: Brady/Fitz
    Rb:Collins, k.Johnson,D Lewis,C.Thonpson,Clement,Lindsay
    Wr:Hopkins,Beckham,Golladay,Gordon,Callaway
    Te:McDonald

    His team:
    Qb:Cousins
    Rb:Gordon,McCaffrey,Crowell,Cohen,Wilkins
    Wr:Thielen,Cooks,D.Thomas,Crowder,Moore,Cole
    Te:Graham,O.J.Howard

    Thanks guys!

  37. Hey Trashman, subscriber for 2 years now.
Can I get your thoughts on the Steelers / Bucs game as well?

Also for anyone else out there who wants to help.
I Just picked up Vance McDonald, I dropped Duke Johnson a week ago, This week picked up Hines on WW but dropped him when I saw Vance was available (I have Graham at TE). My Team is listed below.
I’m 3-0 as of right now but with these RB’s I’m kind of in panic mode. .5 pt ppr 12 teams

    QB- Big Ben
RB- David Johnson, Joe Mixon, Matt Breida, Kerryon, and A. Jones
WR- Tyreek, Davante Adams, Hogan, Kupp, Enunwa, Tyler Boyd,
    TE- Graham, Vance
    Def- Steelers

WW top players available – Taylor Gabriel, Ben Watson, C. Kirk, J. Doyle, Marquis Goodwin just got dropped, Wilkins and Hines, Jakeem Grant and Albert Wilson, and Duke Johnson.

    1. Also Tavon Austin is available still who is a RB/WR and can go in either spot.

      1. Actually here is a better depiction of who is available on WW.
RB- Duke J., TJ Yeldon, Theo R, Mack/ Hines/ Wilkins, Ronald Jones (Bucs), Anderson, Booker, Ivory, Gore. (Basically Nobody)
WR- Tavon, Goodwin, Garcon, Robbie A, Sanu, Paul Richardson, DJ Moore, Sutton, Anthony Miller, C. Kirk, Sanu, A. Wilson, Jakeem Grant. (Again Nobody) I think what I have is probably for the better but wanted to run it by you guys for a 2nd opinion.

        1. i thikn goodwni should be owned. he had good games with beathard last season, for what it’s worth.

    2. Sure, I said DJax’s lack of targets is what keeps him out of the WR1 conversation, and that was on full display Monday night. Godwin is the more consistent play. Barber’s days are numbered. He is averaging less than 2 yards per carry on the season, and that’s not going to suffice. McDonald and James have traded off big weeks, but I think Mcdonald gets the edge as he ran more routes both weeks. i think goodwin needs to be owned, he had good days with beathard last season. johnson might be worth a look too. mayfield may revive his value.

  39. Any thoughts about Hayden Hurst? Back at practice today. Probably not ready, but is he worth stashing?
