Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 16
Trashman’s Garbage Grab: Week 16
RosterWatch.com
Hopefully you don’t need to wade through the waiver wire in your fantasy championships. I wouldn’t put it past the trashiest but beloved members of RosterWatch Nation though. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas to all of you filthy animals!
Quarterback
Matt Barkley, Bears: Barkley has been better than Jay Cutler in his few starts and faces a Redskins team this week that has allowed 300+ yard passers 5 out of the last 6 weeks.
Runningback
Justin Forsett, Broncos: Forsett has moved ahead of Booker in the Bronco backfield these days, and he’ll get a Chiefs team that has been giving it up to the run.
Charles Sims, Buccaneers: Sims hasn’t been doing much lately, but a middling Martin and a cherry matchup against the Saints makes him worth a flex play in deeper leagues.
Wide Receiver
J.J. Nelson, Cardinals: Nelson is an every down starter for the Cardinals and it’s showing up on the stat sheet. Even against a Seahawks team that tends to stifle the pass he makes for a solid play across formats.
Robbie Anderson, Jets: He’s been the Jets leading WR for weeks now, and I don’t see that changing this week.
Eli Rogers, Steelers: Rogers went big last week against a tough Bengals secondary, and he’s primed to pay off again this week as Ladarius Green and Sammie Coates are sidelined.
Ted Ginn Jr., Panthers: Ginn Jr. is the only Panther WR that you can touch in fantasy right now. He’s done well against the Falcons in their recent matchups, and he’ll be a close no.2 to Olsen in targets this week.
Adam Thielen, Vikings: Thielen gave us a scare last week with a neck injury, but he should be good to go this week in a juicy matchup with the Packers.
Tight End
Hunter Henry, Titans: Henry has been vulturing Gates in the red-zone for weeks. You’re depending on a TD here, but there’s a good chance he’ll get it.
Vernon Davis, Redskins: Reed is very unlikely to play this week, making Davis a TE1 streamer.
