PRO Trashman’s Week 7 Flex Rankings: RB, WR, TE

Trashman HeaderOften times, there is nothing tougher (or more important) than deciding who your weekly flex-plays are. It can be a mind-numbing experience having to make cross-positional projections.

This season, our RosterWatch PRO community will have personal and exclusive access to our very own disgusting Trashman, who has carefully curated his personal weekly flex rankings in order to help you in gaining input about your roster decisions.

PLEASE Keep in mind, these are not our official RosterWatch Week 7 rankings, but we’ve learned over time to pay extra-special attention to what the Trashman might have up his filthy sleeve – and where he stacks up players against one another for the coming weekend’s slate cross-positionally.

Our OFFICIAL rankings page here on the site will continue to be updated through the day Saturday and Sunday morning as more information comes in and we become more comfortable with player slotting. In the meantime, have a look at how the Trashman sees Week 7’s Sunday and Monday slate shaking out – as his inputs to our formula are a key (albeit smelly and gross) component. (Based on .5 PPR scoring).

    What?! Keenan over Rishard, Demarco, and Henry . . . with a bum shoulder . . . against an angry Denver D? Trashy-trash-trash! I’m so confused . . .

    I’m starting the ‘Ghini, Julio, and Rishard. I have no idea what to do for the other two slots (out of Demarco, Henry, Keenan, TyMo, and Smallwood). Ooof!

      started the rankings before i got the allen news. i’ll likely move him down. i’d go henry and allen if he goes, unless you feel ok about starting both tenn backs..

    QQ. Standard league. I need to choose 2 out of the 3, and given matchups and the fact Murray may not play, which do you think? NOTE: I can change this based on if Murray is active or not, since they have the early game.

    Melvin Gordon vs Denver
    Doug Martin vs Buffalo
    Derrick Henry (assuming Murray is inactive) vs Cleveland

    If it matters, I’m trying to get the high score for the week. I already pretty safely won my individual matchup.

      i think adding brown and thompson just dilutes you roster more. you want to pair players to get one marquee player.

        Smallwood injury would eliminate him in my opinion. Given that your league scoring is non-PPR I think Amendola loses value. Trashman ranks are based on .5 PPR but you dont see that upside in your scoring. That being said I trust Amendola more than I trust Crowell in the replay of Super Bowl in Foxboro

    Kizer is in my lineup as a streamer (its garbage, I know) but is Beathard (another trashy option) the better play?

      Trashman special right there; especially since neither QB makes the RW rankings. Only thing I would say is that the Titan defense is ranked this week but the Cowboys defense is not ranked this week. So take that for what you will.

    Okay guys. I’m a little maniacal in my out reach but you bring it out of me. I’m in a mess here, and need a win vs my cousin.

    I’m a Murray with Henry owner. I also own Fournette and Ivory. What I’m dealing with is a 2 RB start and one flex spot.

    I’m feeling that Funchess carries a nice floor and I should play him. I’d like to see Murray sit so I can just line up Henry but not sure that’ll happen. So here’s my set up.

    Qb – Bye week Fill in for Watson is Goff.
    WRs Dez and Evans, done.
    TE is Engram – done.
    Kicker – Elliott as you called
    D – Jax.

    Question comes in for 2 RBs and 2 flex.

    On my roster had Murray, Henry, L4, Ivory, Lewis, Dixon, Fuchess, Doctson.

    I can also go and grab Sanu or Gabriel from the waiver.

    With Burkhead playing I’m nervous of Lewis.

    What the hell do I do. I want to play the Jax RB. I want Murray to sit so I can play Henry.

    Do we trust Lewis with Burk playing or do I line up Mixon, Sanu? What’s the call?

      So what it is you seem to want to do. Wait til Sunday morning and see what the reports are and go with it! I personally play Henry over Murray regardless. Murray did not practice all week so even if he goes I think as soon as the Henry bus starts going that will be it and then see wat they say about Fournette. If he plays you play him if not punch Ivories ticket!

      As for the flexs…. I would normally always go rb over wr but if you are a ppr that opens the door. I like funches this week as Benjamin might not go with that knee and I like Sanu as well but maybe you like one of those rbs in there instead?

      Coleman has the higher floor and Henry has the higher ceiling. If Demarco doesn’t go, play Henry. Otherwise I’d go Coleman.

    If Fournette doesn’t play, where would you adjust Chris Ivory’s ranking? Would you think he’s starts in a 12 man PPR, 2RB + 1 FLEX over J. White, Buck, Blount, or Darkwa? Out of these 5 guys who would you start? Thanks!

      Yes if Fournette is out I play him above those others
      Knowing how much Jacksonville wants to run now! They literally want to run like 70 percent of the time to cut down on Bortles bozo plays. Check out the stats from the previous weeks.

    Hey guys 2 questions should I chance it with Winston this week I picked up Palmer off the waiver as a backup plan. Also should I go with Henry or Mccaffery it’s a standard league.

      I think Palmer is safer. I think you only play Henry if Murray is totally out of the game; otherwise go McCaffrey

    First – big thanks to Bryon for the review of the CB Listener’s League on the Podcast this week – One Man’s Trash will continue to grind it out with a team worthy of the Trashman! Have a flex question for PPR league: Kupp, Sanu, D. Lewis or Darkwa? The Flex rankings have Sanu so, so low with Kupp being on top. But Lewis….sounds trashy. Thanks for the help!

    I have Ajayi Kamara and Cj Anderson. I figure Ajayi and then one of the others.

    then 2 WR’s
    M. Evans and B. Cooks, Fitz, K. Allen and Thielen to choose from at WR. Evans and Cooks, but maybe Thielen also in flex?

    The way i have it now is Ajayi and Kamara. Evans, Cooks, and Thielen in flex.

    How would you run it?

    I already have D. Hopkins so I’m thinking of countering with Doug Baldwin instead of Will Fuller.
    Think I should offer that back? My other RBs are Gurley, Doug Martin, Lynch and Darkwa.
