PRO Week 11 Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet Now Available

Byron BylineBuilding a championship-caliber fantasy roster requires basic weekly waiver-wire management. We’ve created the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet so that in a just a few minutes a week, our users can make the same expert waiver maneuvers we personally make in our own leagues, throughout the season.

Whether you play in a standard waiver claim format, or in a free-agent bidding system – we’ve got you covered. Read the chart top to bottom, and use it like the Draft Cheat Sheet. It’s not mandatory to go after the very top pick up every single week – use some basic discretion. Insane value can be cultivated through the bottom of the Waiver Wire Cheat Sheet over the course of the season.

All players listed on the WWCS are currently on the waiver wire in at least 50% of fantasy leagues across all major formats.

*Our advice is to recycle an average of 1-2 players per week from the bottom of your roster into hot waiver-wire pickups for the current week. This can be accomplished via waivers, or on the cheap as free-agent pickups post-waiver period .

  1. I’ve pretty much had it with Hyde. He doesn’t seem to be as valuable with kaepernick as he was with gabbert. Should I try to get something for him or am I being too impatient? Thanks for the help

    1. If we could get something solid- we’d make the move for sure- like the way you think. Also- have a quick look at Hyde’s upcoming schedule.

  2. Great web site Guys! I’m in a keeper league, I have J Williams Buffalo RB, going forward to next year is he still worth stashing?

    1. Hi – thanks so much for your support. We love you guys, and the teams of RosterWatch Nation. Yes, he is still a good stash in dynasty.

  3. standard league my Wrs are Julio, Moncrief, Rishard Matthews, Coleman. Should I drop Coleman or Derrick Henry for Meredith? I dont have DeMarco.

    1. We’d prob do it for Meredith

  4. Rosterwatch Nation,

Could we possibly include a weekly insert of Cockamamie Business into the website in audio form? This Radio Gold should not be a weekly toss up given the new time constraints. In my humble opinion of course and with all due respect. Thoughts?

    1. Thanks WhoDat- there is a podcast on the horizon- for now we’ve been talking about re-integrating an occasional cockamamie biz segment back into the SXM show down the stretch.

    1. thomas, cooper, meredith

Thanks Trashman! My season is going awesome thanks to your draft list. I have Zeke Elliott, Demarco Murray, and Leveon Bell all on the same team! Scrambling at receiver as you can see. One more question: Dak Prescott, or Derek Carr this week?

  6. Ros-
Doyle, Pitta, Fiedo or L Green?

  7. Season long standard – Having a great year, 10-0.

My RB’s are DJ, Murray, Blount and Ajayi. Should i use most of my waiver funds ($39) to p/u Prosise? Or save most of it incase its needed later.

  8. Roster Management Question: Full PPR – Start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, TE, R/W/T, R/W/T, K, D
    QB: Ben Roethlisberger
WR: OBJ, Landry, Moncrief, Crowder (Typically play all with Moncrief and Crowder in Flex spots)
RB: Zeke, Murray, Hill, Perkins with Alf and Henry cuffs.
    TE: Olsen

I feel I’m okay if Crowder and Moncrief stay healthy but curious if I should get depth at WR/TE or upgrade a flex (Perkins just not taking off) Not much from the WWCC really available. Possible picks ups:

Eddie Royal, DJax, Zach Miller, DeVante Parker, Witten, Clay, Asiata, Bunny Cun, T Hightower, Amendola, Lockett, Patton, Kearse, Kendricks, Boldin, M. Lee, Agholor, Boyd, McKinnon, Torrey S. Cordropple Patterson, Brian Quick, Lafell, Hogan, Perriman

    1. i think Miller or Royal is worth a ickup, but only if you’ll actually play them.

      1. I have Houston D to drop.

  9. Need to start two of Kelly, Ivory and Hightower. Thoughts?

  10. Hi,

I feel like I need a little help. I’m 2 games back in a weird league year where everyone has at least one tie except one team with none. I’ve been hit by the every team gets hot when they play against mine bug. It happens. If I can win the next two weeks I’ve got a great shot at the playoffs.

    I have
    Carr
Bell, Gordon, Murray and Miller with Henry as HC
Wallace, Smith Sr., Crowder and Coleman
    Rudolph
    Vikings and Eagles
    Tucker

I feel like I need to do something.

Bennet Doyle and Ebron Henry on bye are all on the wire. Gronk won’t play this week (likely since early reports up here said he didn’t fly to NY and he has a pneumothorax). But Rudolph is steady but boring TE6 in this league.

Not much to do at RB except maybe drop Henry for someone. I have the best RB combo unless I also had Elliot and or DJ. Usually I struggle with my backs and find ww gems.

At WR I have been let down where I usually am strong in drafted picks this year it flipped with RB. Smith Sr. should do well this week since the stage will be large and he should in all likelihood get to 1000 career receptions and he likes to put on a great show in the big games. Ravens will be playing the role of “the other guys” to “America’s team” this week. Wallace is steady with occasional high ceiling, Crowder similar and Coleman a dart throw with the lousy QB play in Cleveland until McCowan or RGiii is named starter, with Pittsburgh this week desperately needing to stop loosing I’m not thinking Coleman will do much.

Only exciting player on the wire is Tyreek Hill who is WR#5 in this league due to the cockamamie ST yardage point scoring. He has an average of 12 points per game. I’m highly considering getting him.

I feel like I should drop the Eagles but neither Eagles or. Vikings have done much for me the past three weeks.

    I’m open to suggestions.

    1. i’d trade one of your marquee backs for a marquee wr, since you probably can’t play them all. i don’t feel like he’s a long term option, though i could be wrong. bennett should be played this week for sure. i feel ok about dropping the vikings.

      1. Thanks TrashMan!

  11. My notes

Elliot is likely to have his worst week running due to the Ravens insanely tough run defense, however he may still have productivity due to touchdowns. It will fall to Dak to win the game this week, especially with the Ravens top corner Jimmy Smith likely injured. Ravens will be without both starting guards so it may be tough going for the Ravens offense. Steve Smith Sr. should have a good game though because he is set to break 1000 career receptions.

Gronk imho will not play so this will be a Bennet game, get him now if you can. Brady didn’t practice today (unusual for Brady) so monitor the injury to his knee going forward and pay attention to what he says tomorrow.

    1. We like the way you think Minion….

      1. Right back at you.

  12. Do we have ANY interest in C Mike now that he’s in Green Bay? I just dropped him this morning to pick up Dixon, but I could get him back.

    1. More likely, this makes us drop Starks ROS – who we don’t trust over any type of long haul. We view CM as more of a long-shot playoff stash

      1. So just keep Dixon?

        1. The Ravens really want Dixon to get it going so he will see continued use but will split time with West.

  13. 2 of these 5 —Full point PPR …..Michael Thomas, T Eiffert, Rashard Matthews, J Reed, or Marvin Jones<<>> I am 6-4 and have lost my last 2 <>starting to get nervous!!!! My #1 receiver is B Marshall 🙁 Now u probably see why???

    1. Boy you sure do have some great options with some great matchups this week. As always- please wait for Trashmans Flex Rankings, as well as our final positional rankings Sun AM.

At the moment, if it were me- I’d roll Eifert for sure + Michael Thomas or Reed

You’re going to need to consider benching Brandon Marshall moving forward. Fortunately, you have great options.

  14. I’m in some deep bye week savagery and would like your ideas. I need to start one at my flex. Hightower or Rudolph.
Fun fact: I’m already starting Mark Ingram. I will, of course, be checking out the Trashmans filthy flex rankings, always a fantastic tool. But who do you like in my flex those week? Cheers

    1. Should mention… standard scoring.

      1. Man, that’s a tough situation- I’d prob roll Rudolph there. 27% snap count for TH last week just not enough, will be praying for a TD or an Ingram fuck up against a tough matchup- and we hate getting swindled on Thurs night.

  15. In first place but have a tough match up this week and need help on my flex-ppr league:
    Prosise, Crowell, Snead.
-Cro has been making a few catches and I like him against the crap Pitt run D
-Snead has some upside in what should be a shootout (o/u 52.5) but it’s a Thurs game
-Prosise has Rawls coming back, what’s that mean?

    Bonus question-
Wtf am I doing with Brandon Marshall going forward?

    Thanks you guys!

    1. PPR- think you have to roll CJP at home. Can’t feel too bad about that.

Prob gotta start benching BM. Not likely in you’re in 1st place because of him, anyways.

  16. .5 point PPR league. 2 flex spots I need to fill so I need to start 2 of these 5:

    -CJ Prosise
    -James Starks
    -Corey Coleman
    -Tyreek Hill
    -Rob Kelley

    Thanks,

    1. LOL, everyone on here owns CJP!!!!!!!!!!

CJP + wait for Trashman’s Flex rankings (if me gun to my head right now- prob roll another RB- Kelley, maybe Starks).

The TyFreak is a solid option if Maclin doesn’t go, so nothing to feel too bad about here. Let’s see what the filthy Trashman says about this, as well as our final positional rankings over the weekend.

  17. Hey guys thx for the RW help,

Thin at WR and starting ARob and Crowder. Strong at RB with Zeke, Murray, Ware, Martin, Booker.

Would you trade Ware straight up for MThomas? Or if I can get Dez for Ware, would you do it?

I do have Watkins on IR hopefully coming back fro playoffs…

    THX

  18. M. Thomas or Kelvin B. tonight as a full point ppr flex? Other WRs are A. Brown and M. Evans – so I probably wouldn’t bench either of them… thoughts?

  19. hey guys,
New subscriber here and I love all your input. Thank you.
I need 1 RB and 1 Flex out of the following; 1 point PPR
    Hill
    Hyde
    Michael Thomas (NO)
    K.Britt

    1. Well im going with Michael Thomas in the Flex. Who would you start at RB?
      ppr.
      Hill or Hyde?

    2. i would say hyde and britt in a ppr.

  20. I need 1 TE out of these sir. 1 point ppr
    W.TYE
    L.Green
    C.Fiedorowicz
    V.Davis
    Thank you Gentlemen.

  21. Gates is on the wire, should I drop Randall Cobb or Marvin Jones to pick him up? Rollin with Zach Miller this week. Got strong starters, thin bench. I’m looking for playoff production. L Green is also on the wire, is he better long term? Standard league. Thanks
